Oooh I love smoothies... Seriously, they're so handy and quick. I bought one of those Magic Bullet knock-off blender's (I'm a student, I live in
resident, so I only need a One-Serving-At-A-Time Blender), and its awesome for making something quick.
I prefer to use frozen fruit in mine, and Soy Milk - Both thicken it up quite nicely...
Here are some of my Favorites!
Blueberry Acai Smoothie
- 1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1/2 Cup of Water
- 1/4 Cup of Blueberry Acai Juice (Thank you Costco!)
- 1/4 Cup of Soy Milk
- 3 TBS of Yogurt
- Protein Powder (I don't eat meat)
Strawberry Smoothie
- 1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
- 1/2 Cup of Water
- 1/2 Banana
- 1/2 Cup Soy Milk
- 3 TBS Yogurt
- Protein Powder
- Carrot
