links in signatures

can someone give me a quick lesson on how to make a word in the sig box link to the address of a thread ??????

Well, the way I do it is to hit the "post reply" link on any thread. The I hit the "globe" link, enter the word press "ok" the enter the url then press "ok" again. Then copy/paste the sentence that was generated into my signature box at the "member center." Then close the "reply" box without hitting "post reply"

I'm sure there's a quicker way but this works just fine for me.
