Like every single person on the planet, i had to watch him speak.

The speech was pretty pathetic, but it was designed to be more of a glorifed thank you then anything else.

The ONLY thing worth nothing about this was when BO said the line about telling us the truth...

I belive the line was:

"I will be Honest with you"

BO has a very commanding voice, and spoke VERY VERY VERY well thru his speech, until he came to this line.

When he said this line, his voice changed.

The second happen, i screemed, "Did you hear THAT!" i said to my friends

He could not say that he would be honest with us with a straight face.

Maybe its a good thing, maybe he has a concious, and felt bad lying to us...

This was the ONLY notable thing about the speach last night

Oh, one more thing too, when BO went preacher on the crowd.

"Yes we Can" he said, and the crowd screamed it back at him...
He did it several times, after the first time he said it, i busted out laughing and told my friends he is about to go all preacher on us, they called me a stupid racist.

Then he did it again, and again, and again....

I couldn't stop cracking up, and they admited that i may have had a point...

yeah preacher, what a shock, religious influence on the president, who'ld a thunk it'ld ever happen
look on the bright side....he can actually string a full sentance together.....at least he can read it off an auto-cue.

I for one thought that his speech was quite well done and I admired John McCains speech as well for they both conveyed a like idea.
We as a nation have quite a few problems of significance at hand and together we all need to work towards resolving them as Americans.
Wasting more time on needless bantering after the fact doesn't help us at all in working as a nation towards the resolution of these issues.
Let's get over it and move forward.
