Would A "Children Of Man" Scenario Become True After Obama Gets In Office?

Hear me out.

Not the pregnant scenario but the way the society was. Bombs and Martial law like ways.

The way the lead character was living his life getting coffee and an explosion just goes off and he walks as if its just an ordinary day. (Like people in the Mideast do)

Activist considered terrorist. People in cages in isolated ghettos eating rats and all kinds of unheard of acts.

I personally believe that this is really going to happen in the near future (Obama admin) its going to get ugly folks.

Did you hear what Obama said in his speach tonight when he addressed the Nation when he was elected? He said hes going to need people to "sacrifice" and hes going to make decisions that people wont like.

I mean with his new "Army" the "Civilian thinga ma jig" what is he preparing for?

Wow. You honestly got that out of his speech? Who is the last president that was in office that didn't make decisions that people didn't like? You do realize that our country is a wreck right now right? How do you suppose we could fix it without ANY sacrifice?

Bush led the country for 8 years and made more than a few decisions that people didn't like. How many thousands of people had to sacrifice for his wars? Sacrifice is a reality these days, whether it comes in the form of your life like in the Bush administration or taxes on the wealthy like Obama is proposing.

I figured it out. We've been set up. Everything really DOES point to "NWO", "One World Govt", etc....

Americans will not like this at all. But, basically our quality of life will be on-par with Mexico and every other impoverished nation in this world.

Look, those in power see a 'One World Government' as a 'Greater Good for All'. If there is one thing I have figured out about Obama, this is it. His "World Poverty Act", his friends, ex minister... Everything points to him wanting us to be equal with the rest of the poor world.

Obama plans on establishing a mandatory paramilitary youth program which he dubs, The Ameri Corps. In this program, Obama will demand that American youth from ages 14 to 24 “serve” the needs of “defending America” as an adjunct to the US military.

We just gave 850 billion to the bankers in the US over the time span of a week. Isn't Obama proposing to give a similar total to developing nations over the period of 10 years? How is his plan somehow worse than what has already been done? Not only that, he hasn't even done it yet. It would need to be approved.


Can we delay our 3rd world status until he actually implements these programs?

$850 billion with in 10 years? Thats if theirs still a "Dollar" in circulation and not some other form of currency. I don't believe everything these politicians say. He says "Change" but what kind of Change is it? The dramatic shift thats going to happen with his socialist type agenda. Its just keeping people happen with getting Government hand outs.

Eh, I dont think Im THAT cynical. I also dont see anything wrong with Elitism so long as there is a reason. I mean if you need an operation, want a noobie to operate? or an Elite Surgeon?

Anyway, there is a huge difference between the parties. Sure they double-talk and are prone to corruption in similar ways.

Anyway, I prefer to think they are different, I tend to have more faith in humanity than that.

Obama voted FOR the patriot act. I've never heard him say anything about being against it either. And he also inherits all the power Bush has taken for the executive office.

The only good thing about this, is that maybe - just maybe, people will finally see that the democrats are no different than the republicans.
