Ron Paul Endorses McCain?

I didn't really know where else to post this. I woke up this morning to my parents telling me that Ron Paul was on CNN saying to vote for McCain to keep balance in the white house, lest we give full power to the left.

Did anyone else hear this? I can't find anything online about it yet.

He endorses neither, he doesn't want a communist or a fascist as president.

Yes, yes. Most of us here know his views on most things, but I wanted to see if anyone else here heard him say this on CNN.

As for the supposed CNN endorsement, I watch CNN and I didn't see it this morning, so I tend to doubt it very much...

Don't get me wrong, I don't like Obama or McCain. However the prospect of keeping a balance of power seems to be the best we can hope for at this point. Thank you for your replies so far! I'm sure someone would have seen if it he said it.

I'm a Ron Paul supporter, and I hope McCain loses. If McCain wins, then it will be a full 8 years before we have any chance at an actual republican. If McCain loses, then the GOP will be forced to abandon the neo-con craziness and get back to it's roots.

It is my opinion that what has happened to the GOP has been done on purpose. And a "liberal republican" of McCain is not what the GOP needs now.

As the saying goes - I didn't leave the republican party, the republican party left me.

Here's the vid. I don't think he endorses Mcain, I think he is just alluding that we will have a president that will rubber stamp everything congress dumps on his lap.

I think this is more of a reflection of what the Republican party of today stands for; More corporatism, warfare and welfare state. If the republicans get their clocked cleaned by voters today it will be because voters have rejected the Neocon ideology of false "conservatism" which they have pushed on the rest of the party, the Neocons will hopefully be purged from the party soon if they wish to pick of the pieces of what will be left...

If indeed Paul said that, it means that he is concerned about the USA going from the neo-con agenda straight back the other way into the socialist agenda.

It would be better to have either congress or the president of different parties.

A democrat president, coupled with a Pelosi led congress and democrat controlled senate would be rather radical for America. Let's just hope none of the Supreme Court judges croak, otherwise America will be in the grasp of the Democrats for quite a while.

I took a look, but couldn't find anything at all on it.

The only endoresment I've seen so far is where endorsed Chuck Baldwin back in Sept.

We already have Nancy & Harry up there in Washington we don't need Obama and a house all left to what America stands for. I already voted McCain for the same reasons and believe me, McCain isn't bush. Now it's just a waiting game until the results are announced and the party begins.

No endorsement here - he's just suggesting that either party NOT own both the presidency and congress. I was sure to balance my vote for the same reason. I'd rather see healthy debate over rubber stamping any day.

What do you all think of this? A big question is raised in my mind. It makes sense to vote for McCain based off of this kind of thinking, but isn't the whole idea that these two are in the same conspiratorial boat working for the same ultimate purpose? What a coincidence that this is the election of firsts. First black president, first lady vice, possibly oldest first term president, etc. I don't know what to make of it.

Does anyone else notice in the video, that Ron Paul has a black eye? His left? Looks like makeup on it. Is it just me?

I think he's just old and has bags under his eyes. One being more prominent than the other.
