Iowa is an amazing state. As an African American who visits there, the
warmth and openess of the residents is extraordinary compared to the
southern states that are mostly Caucasian.
Iowa for Obama tonight. No surprise..but blows a hole in Jesse Jackson's
race-fear mongering.

This is one of those rare nights when I wish I had Cable TV, so I could
see the sad, depressed look on the faces of the FOX News talking heads.
It's interesting to see that the local Fox TV media here in Obama's home
town of Chicago are trying NOT to look too happy..or they'll lose their
jobs, I suspect.

McCain concedes before the polls close on the West Coast?
Typical..just like the way sour-puss McCain scurried out of
the second debate without shaking any hands in the audience.

McCain didn't concede. Seriously, ATS is not the place for news, that's like going to infowars- don't believe it.

As a human, non-US-citizen, I do congratulate the World:
THEY, YES, DID THE RIGHT THING!
Obama's in da house!
Personally I hope he'll unchain
an endurable strive to solve the
World's problems.
Is there a thread on ATS on top priority problems to tackle?
The Israeli - Palestinian conflict. Sure for that one.
We need a solomon's verdict on that one.

Electoral or popular landslide?
In your opinion, what constitutes a landslide for either? I have heard that there is much debate as to what constitutes an Electoral Vote landslide.

Obama won Ohio.
It's over for McCain.
Not to mention Obama wining PA.
Of course, as of now the current tally is 95% of the black vote went to Obama there.

320 or above would get the term of "landslide" and I think thats not out of the question for Obama right now.
