Based on mathematical calculations and results we already know/expect, Skynews have declared Obama as the 44th President of the United States of
America.

At least George W. can retire in Texas knowing that they still love him.

If Democrat States do not alter path, Obama has won. Even the Republican stronghold of Iowa is expected to vote Obama

I thought Texas had progressed into the 21st century. But I forgot about
the Bush influence when I made that erroneous assumption. (embarrased)
This election is teaching me a lesson though. It's teaching me which states
I will NEVER move to and likely not even visit again, or for the first time.

Ahh man, I sure hope your right - I am so rooting here for Obama, I just don't want to count chickens, ye know?
It is looking like an Obama win. I wonder how the atmosphere is in the McCain household?

MSNBC seems to be the most reliable tonight. Suggest switching over, Ive been follwoing them all night and they've called first & correctly on
(almost) all the states.
They also have a great electoral map on their homepage if your also online.
EDIT - Currently at:
200 - Obama
124 - McCain

What I don't understand is how they can call NM with the CNN map saying that the votes so far were 14,000 to 10,000 Obama while the same map hasn't
called Colorado with 476,000 to 339,000 Obama.
My state right now according to the same map is 50 50 with Obama pulling ahead 1,285,000 to 1,278,000 Obama. Just a half hours ago McCain was ahead
her by 5,000.
The same map now has NC 1,536,000 to 1,493,000 Obama and Florida 3,140,000 to 3,001,000 Obama.

Obama is going to win. Seeing as he got the entire east coast, and he will get the entire west coast (cali, oregon, washington), hes totally winning.
theres no question in my mind

Thanks Marker.. I have MSNBC.com open as one of the Tabs in my
browser. I click back and forth between the MSM websites. You're
right. MSNBC is faster than the other guys most of the time.

In what world was Obama expected to win Texas and not expected to win Iowa? I wish people who weren't knowledgeable wouldn't post like they
were.
