Looks like Ted Stevens of Alaska may be re-elected. He holds a slim lead today on the 5th.

Guess corruption is no disqualification for public office after all. His selling point is that he has an appeal pending. I have to wonder about the mindset of half the Alaskan voters. Trickle down of ill gotten money must be at an acceptable level.

May be we all deserve the political system we have in place.

Well, we managed to keep Mitch McConnell here in Kentucky.

Thank God for that too. He was running against Bruce Lunsford, who was hand picked by Harry Reid (which should be warning enough).

That's about the lone bright spot from yesterday for me.
