Well, that pretty much confirms that ATS users have a liberal bias - a very, very large liberal bias. Good information to know.

McCain= Conservative
Barr= Conservative
Baldwin= Conservative
Total 43.83%

Not exactly what I'd call a very very large liberal bias, but then again only 18% of the site actually voted.

Now who are these 7 people that gave you stars, for that comment? Looks like I need to hunt them down and put gum in their hair.

YOu too hmm? I got negative points as well for expressing my views on obama. Strangely enough it was more of my reports on obama backed up by video or news article that got shut down and my points removed. Welcome to the club brother. I have no doubt in my mind Obama will get elected, and for once I hate being right, and "i told you so" will never be so bitter as this time, because it means the downfall of my country that I have served and fought for.

Yes. Non-intervention, non-welfare, non-socialism is supported by most liberatarians.

But we also have a lot of liberal values...especially toward sex, drugs, race, and in wanting to get religion out of politics.

TRUE..

But .. I think it's different then "supporting" ..

For instance, I am against drugs, gay marriage etc.. but I believe it is my right to not practice those things, and the Federal level of governing has no right to tell us how to live.

I would however 100% support any local law that bans any activity the Majority sees fit.

Alright...in the original meaning of the word conservative, you´re right.

But definitions have changed.

Lol.. aint that the truth. We went from Fiscal Conservatives who support small government..

To Bible Thumping Fascist who support massive Socialistic ideologies..

And they kept the word Conservative to their name.

But surely you can understand my confusion .. anger .. more confusion and disgust when Ron Paul supporters vote for a Socialist .. I mean I really couldn't find for the life of me a more ignorant action. Oh Ron Paul won't win, lets just vote 360º against what his beliefs where.

Anyways..

Marcus Calpurnius brings up a good point.. Internationals are going to be far more likely to vote Democrat then Republican if they where American. Could be because most European countries are Nanny States.. coupled with the ignorant belief that an Obama administration would be "good for the world" ..

Because Democrats don't wage war.

Putting the math back to the right drawer, the ATS poll shows that both traditional tickets received 25.25% + 42.92% = 68.17% votes. This percentage accumulation about equals to the percentage of people who opposed the bailout, as various polls taken at that time had disclosed, a measure that was supported by Obama and McCain alike, a measure that got viciously attacked by the folks who like to hang around the Global Meltdown forum.

It's apparent that Obama and McCain are talented sales people who have ran an excellent read-the-fine-print race for the White House. They both received 68% support from ATS members who are well-known for their alternative views of the worldly affairs!!!

Speaking of alternatives . . . There is a chance -- a good one -- that 68% of ATS membership stick to the traditional and archaic approach to look at things.

Bill, dude, you should open Re-education Boot Camp forum for visitors and members and teach there lessons designed to develop independent thinking.

Well the socialist win. Well not the ones marked socialist on the ballot, but the ones who are wanting to enact the most socialist thinking policies in this nations history. We can only watch in wonder if America is really going to travel down this dark path.

Well, Ralph Nader seems to see that Capitalism survives because socialism keeps bailing it out.

"It was clearly socialism bailing out capitalism," Nader said during a campaign stop in Denver. "This is the collapse of corporate capitalist ideology. I emphasize corporate, because the only capitalism left now is small business. They're the only ones who are free to go bankrupt," Nader said

Its the COLLECTIVE that allows for the government to do what it does.
Not every American is able bodied, nor is every youth, or Senior.
We use our youth and the strength of those enabled to do for other people, American and non American alike, what we would so unto ourselves.

Its why we give foreign aid, remove tyrants, and fight for justice when other men are unmoved to do so.

When one says socialism, think if it in another perspective. Altruism. Its what is best for all of us, and not just for the working. If there is 80% unemployment, is the that the fault of the unemployed, or the employer? Does that make anyone less entitles when they have worked the majority of their life in this great nation?

When its every man for himself, you get twisted individuals who do sad things such as what I saw on Halloween where kids become victims.

www.msnbc.msn.com...

The person in this story was only giving candy to McCain supporters. I wonder how they would have felt if the store that was selling it was only selling to Obama supporters.

It is my hope that the days of selfish America are coming to a close. The age of a new era of good for all and doing for another what we would do for ourselves, even when we may not understand what is better for us.

That those that know the course, help those that don't to get on course, and that in the end, we will all be stronger for it.

Peace

I think the Ron Paul supporters who vote for the Democrats didnt really know what Ron Paul stood for...they were only following the hype of the new.

Im also saddened that the Republican party has been hijacked by religious zealots.
