I am starting to hate VISTA

Try Linux. It's so much better than it was 5 years ago. I now consider it superior to Microsoft operating systems.

I've been using Ubuntu at home since version 7, and it has been more impressive than annoying. Something I haven't been able to say about Windows since NT 3.51.

At work, I switched a year and a half ago to Fedora and Eclipse as my primary development environment. The Nvidia OpenGL drivers are quite superior to Windows implementations; I have framerates and uptimes that no Windows boxes can match.

I do keep a Windows box at work, also, for interfacing with hardware than requires custom Windows-only drivers. I neglect it as much as possible.
