A final frantic looting indeed! Naomi Klein is the author of "The Shock Doctrine" which is definitely worth a read although it may lack the high octane conspiracies that we at ATS require to keep turning pages.

In this article for the Guardian calls for the new President elect to freeze the bailout funds until someone can explain why they are needed and offer terms and guarantees that benefit the public and not Wall St or the banksters!

In the article she mentions the Bailout plan is often referred to as a partial nationalization of the banks. Which is not true because the American taxpayers have not gained any meaningful control of the banks or the 750 billion and how it will be used. In other words no oversight none, no consequences. Does that sound familiar.

Last time I checked beggars shouldn't be choosers!
