weren't sure how or it felt awkward? Recently, a
gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used
and has started a massive movement to get the word out.

Nice post...deserves a star. I really hate these wars and the fact that we're over there, but I support the troops. I'm glad there's a way to
acknowledge their sacrifice face-to-face.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion. Very nice, thanks for sharing.
I have been in that situation, in an airport this past summer. A few troops walking by in uniform, wasn't sure if they were shipping out or coming
home, but just wanted to say thanks and didn't.
As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

I'd feel slightly less daft just saying "thanks" than doing the hand gesture. And I have done in the past.
Nice idea though.

yeah i thought it would just help some people, i myself have been in this situation, it's the least we could do for the troops they're just fighting
for us, like the video says, it's not about politics, it's just about saying thanks
