OK, the Oxford English definition, and Socialism was a concept first introduced in Britain.

socialism

• noun a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

Considering that Bush, although believing in limited regulation, does believe in regulation, and has nationalised a few banks so that the country owns them, does that make him a Socialist? Or do you think that he is exempt from this dictionary definition for some set of reasons?

Yes.

All neo-cons are Socialists. That's what makes them neo-cons and the bane of conservatives everywhere.

Bush and Obama are a lot alike when it comes to big government, pointless spending, free-market corruption and manipulation and unlimited bureaucracy.

This is the state of the Republicrats today.

Thinking of W as a socialist just makes me wonder if the revolution has already happened, but we were asleep so no one noticed........

Yes its funny how dubya was paraded around by the right in 2000 and 2004 and now they find the need to distance themselves from him and call him "LIBERAL".

I remember 2000 like it was yesterday, Mr Bush was the man on top in among the conservative populous. What happened??
