Millions of Americans speak little or no English, they don’t understand political or economic issues vital for our economy, but they can vote and usually vote Democrat

Millions of Americans are elderly and dysfunctional. Many of them don’t comprehend the issues on the ballots any more, but they can vote and usually vote Democrat

Millions of Americans are young and have minimal education. They know little if anything about our political system and nothing about how capitalism creates jobs and prosperity. But they can vote, and usually vote Democrat

Millions of Americans are college students, and have little if any experience in how money is created by small and large businesses and the importance of profits to grow jobs and expansion. But they can vote and usually vote Democrat

Millions of Americans speak and understand English, but know little if anything about Capitalism and that governments don’t create money they get it from those who do create money, which is large and small companies. But they can vote and usually vote Democrat

Democrats love socialism. Socialism loves no one. In fact, people become burdens that the state has to take care of. People become cattle and are treated like cattle, but they have health care.

The numbers of the above are growing exponentially every year. The Republican Party may be extinct.

If the Democrats are socialists, then the Republicans are fascists. You seem to be implying that because these people may or may not have a good grasp of the issues they're ignorant and shouldn't be allowed to vote.

How Republican of you...

That was a pretty lame, desperate attempt… yet from the Republic. It’s people like you that spew negativity 24/7... It’s your type that ruins everything the free and positive dreams of the free people stand for cause’ there is nothing more negative than attacking people 24/7 and trying to confuse the minds of people. That sounds awfully familiar though… I give your lame-attempt a thumb-down!
Trying to integrate these poor civilians of disability for your own political agendas….SAD.

I think you need to do a little more research before you decide America is stuck in stupid. I will give you a history of the American presidency since I was born (1950).
1950-1953 Harry S Truman(D)
1954-1961 Dwightt D Eisenhower (R)
1962-November 1962- John F. Kennedy(D)(assinated)
1962-1968 Lyndon B. Johnson(D)
1969-1973 Richard M Nixon(R) (resigned)
1973-1974 Gerald R Ford(R)
1976-1980-Jimmy Carter(D)
1981-1988 Ronald Reagan(R)
1989-1992-George H W Bush(R)
1993-2000-Bill Clinton(D)
2001-2008-George W Bush(R)

As you can see, there have been 5 democrats and 6 Republicans. God willing, there will be a 7th with McCain/Palin ticket.
In truth, the American people manage to keep things fairly balanced.

You have done a great job of describing both parties here. Don't screw it up with partisanship. And don't forget these guys pat each other on the back behind closed doors.

Divide and conquer is the mantra in DC!!

I'm not fascist, in fact I'm kind of a liberal in many ways. But I fear that voting has lost it's meaning.

When the majority of people don't understand or know what they are voting for what's the point in voting?

America is going down the tubes fast.

Way to neglect all the other posts reminding you that you should have gone to college....or at least educated yourself in some way.

My Dad asks cashiers at stores if they accept Federal Reserve Notes, you'd be surprised by how many people say no and then ask what they are or they have to ask their manager and they come back looking stupid, I used to think it was funny, now I think it's sad.

yes alot of americans are stupid. so are a lot of the population of every country. the only difference is the level of idiocy. if another place is better educated then their idiots will be slightly less idiotic than our idiots.

figure it like this. at least 30% of the population at any given time is mediocre. probably more like 40-50%. that leaves about 10% smart people and 20% retards. you do the math.

you're outnumbered and you always will be. plus you're getting older and noticing it more.

KORDS: ijust told my wife about your post. she said your dad's an AH!

These are the people who are voting into office our congress and next president, which we all know who that will be.

What is so so wrong with this picture?

Oh man this made me laugh. I think I'm going to try it and see what happens. I KNOW nobody will know what a Federal Reserve Note is. Like they've never even seen one! LOL

The reactions are kind of comical. It'd be funnier if it didn't reflect a certain ignorance that is prevalent in this country. I've come to think of it as a nice easy easy way to educate people on the federal reserve and let them know what their money truly is.

How Republican of you...

I am an independent. I have voted for both democrats and republicans depending on who is going to help me the most. But I think it should be a great idea that not everyone should be allow to vote. The founding fathers were right idea that only certain people should be allowed to vote. Not I am not saying go back to white land owners. I am saying that we should have a basic citizenship test for those who want the right to vote. You have to past a drivers test to have the right to drive a car, or past a pilots exam to fly a plane, or a amateur radio test to be a HAM. Why not have a general citizenship test. It doesn't have to be that hard either.

Here are a few simple questions you should be able to answer in order to vote.

1) Who is the current president and vice president?
2) How long is a presidential term?
3) Who is in line for the presidency after the vice president?
4) How long is a senator's term?
5) How long is a congressmen term?
6) What is the minimum electoral vote a state can have?
7) Who appoints the Supreme Court Judges?
8) How many senators are there?
9) Where is the Capital of the USA?
10)Are you a citizen legally?

If you can answer all ten of those questions, then you have proven that you have the intelligence to make an informed opinion and cast your vote. You have a basic working knowledge of how government works and are more than likely someone who reads the paper, listens to news and will weight each option carefully. Why should people who don't know what the person who they are voting for platforms are be allowed to vote. They are in fact, showing their ignorance and that of the party who is try to push them out to the poll just to have the number to win. It would be a much better win for the country and in the eyes of the world if it is not a popularity contest and actually a contest of whit and vision.

Now I know there are going to be some people who are going to take a dump on this, especially the last question. But there have been many cases where illegals have been registered to vote. This would help to correct this problem. This would also correct to issue of just driving bodies to a poll and making it a popularity contest and those with the better looking candidate on TV will win. It would return the race to one of issues and facts, not muck raking and blasting an image on TV on 7 channels on a paid infomercial until you are sick of seeing them around all day long.

Those who would like to argue, you may do so now.
