The Golan Heights are an illegally occupied area of Syria and so I do not understand the title of this topic.

Israel took that land from Syria after numerous attacks by Syria on Israel.

I guess if Canada was shelling us and we moved our border further north to stop the shelling...we'd be to blame too, eh?
