Driving home from work like i usally do at 11:00pm i was looking north when I seen a bright blue orb in the sky appear out of nowhere and drop down in 1 second to the ground and dissapear.

With Halloween a few days away it could have been a fire work or flare or something too......sorry to be a party pooper, but that was my first thought.

There has been unusually strong meteor activity these last couple of weeks, so this is probably what you saw. Your description is certainly consitstent with a meteor.
