ROFL @ Atheist Evangelists

In spite of all the objections, the truth is revealed, Atheism actually is a religion!

THANKS for providing more evidence to support that fact.

One huge selling point is that there is no hell ...
but if by chance there is, i think we have a good idea of what it would be like...

Behold the glory and righteousness of...

The First Church of Atheism

As a legally ordained minister, you will be able to perform weddings, funerals, commitment ceremonies, and other functions that are reserved for members of clergy.

Since its inception, the First Church of Atheism has amassed quite a following around the world. FCA ministers come from all walks of life. They are every race, ethnicity, age, and creed. The one thing binding every FCA minister is his or her belief in science, reason, and reality.

The First Church of Atheism wants you to pursue and cherish your realistic beliefs without interference from any outside agency, including government or church authority. We provide our service for free, as we believe it is every atheists right to perform these clergy functions.

You may become a legally ordained minister for life, without cost, and without question.

Indiana believers think/feel you can't be good without god... so much so they have recently rejected an atheist group's right to promote themselves:

Isn't "evangelizing atheism" a bit of an oxymoron? Does anyone else see the irony of an atheist preaching the gospel of "no god"?

The choice in title was deliberate, to help illustrate that churches are selling a story.

The title of the thread sounds nonsensical because you are taking it literally. Look at evangelizing atheism as an effort in preaching/selling the idea/opportunity to be a free-thinker and/or if you are already a free-thinker to join/support/enjoy the company of other free-thinkers, advocating the purity of secular morality.

Atheists can no longer sit on the sidelines and let theists unjustly assassinate their character and good works. Many theist activists derail/distort the purpose of our scientists, educators and government officials... and most importantly on the later, someone has to take a stand against such people as the following (Christians United For Israel)... or they will lead us all down their rosy divine blood red path to Armageddon.

Thank god for orgs like The Reason Project... they are desperately needed.

The foundation draws on the talents of prominent and creative thinkers in a wide range of disciplines to encourage critical thinking and erode the influence of dogmatism, superstition, and bigotry in our world.
