TOKYO - North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, thought to have suffered a stroke two months ago, may have taken a turn for the worse and be seeking treatment by a French doctor, Asian media reported on Wednesday.
U.S. and South Korean intelligence officials have said Kim likely suffered a stroke in August.
Persistent questions about his health have raised concerns about likely successors, in particular who will take control of decisions about Pyongyang's nuclear arms program.
