This is the problem with our politics: it is about lies and deciet. And the perceptive reality is controlled via a nearly religious mindset by the followers of each party.

Ordinarily I would agree. This is different. She made a huge point that we should vote for her and McCain instead of Obama because Obama was a socialist. She willingly governs a socialist state and brags about its success all while refusing to admit it is socialist policy that gives her the right to brag and she had no proof that Obama was a socialist.

So, I guess you will have to remind me of the hugely hypocritical lie that Obama kept repeating about her or McCain. Otherwise, it aint all the same all around is it?

the 125,000 dollar wardrobe. But that doesn't make what she did right, just like the deceit used by other political operatives is not made right.

My ancestors fought for this country, and died on battlefields defending it. You know what? Not a single one of them died for democrats or republicans....they died for America. I owe it to them to put America in front of any political ideology. And expect the same from everyone else (although i am prepared for the disappointment of knowing this will not happen).

here is a quote i read recently that really applies to politics:

"We tend to focus on the pointed finger instead
of the DIRECTION in which the finger is pointed"

McCain's aides are the ones that said she spent $150,000 on clothes. Not Obama.

Besides that, do you have proof that is even a lie? She was just borrowing $500 silk boxers? For whom?

I see, you are a blind Obama hater. I get it now. You will say whatever you can to make him seem bad when Palin sinned. Ok. Now I will ask again, where is the hugely hypocritical lie that Obama's camp put out about Palin.

Try not to use an attack that was actually put out by McCain and so far stands as true this time.

That is a cute little statement about dying for America and being above party and all but unfortunately, your failed attempt at justifying Palin by libeling Obama just does not pan that all out.

how about this: i will no longer answer you or discuss because you have begun the "personal attack" (see bold above).

Judging by your negative points total, you have had issues with inappropriate posts in the past. I recommend you read the TAC for ATS before continuing to post.

If you would one day like to discuss things with me, please do not try to ascribe motives to what i say without asking for clarification first.

I am not one of the political lackeys....and i will not participate in such degraded conversations. We were, i thought, discussing facts. Instead of discussing my post, you chose to discuss me and my motives (which you are only guessing at).
