Believing the Bible without Jesus would be a hopeless existence.
I mean, you have all the penalties and laws stacked against you with no Advocate.

It seems to me however that everytime science believes it has explained away god it creates a new paradigm for squeezing god back into the picture. The further we delve into the curiosities of particle physics the more it looks like the scientits and theologans may yet find common ground.

Great, SMOOTH words don't transform your soul or get you favor with God.
Sin brings the penalty of separation from God and death.

So I guess believing in Jesus and not The Bible would be like having an Advocate and none of the penalties and laws against you

SEXUAL DEVIANCE AND PERVERSION
Not only does atheistic evolution devalue human life, it also taints many of the most important areas of human interaction. Sexuality is one area of human behavior that has been completely disrupted by the erroneous concepts of evolution and atheism. In a work he titled Ends and Means, atheist Aldous Huxley wrote:
I had motives for not wanting the world to have meaning; consequently, assumed it had none, and was able without any difficulty to find reasons for this assumption.... For myself, as no doubt for most of my contemporaries, the philosophy of meaninglessness was essentially an instrument of liberation. The liberation we desired was simultaneously liberation from a certain political and economic system and liberation from a certain system of morality. We objected to the morality because it interfered with our sexual freedom (1937, pp. 270, 273, emp. added).

It's all bent. The Catholic Church is gay. If if not gay, a bunch of paedophiles. The two groups overlap incidentally.
The Catholic church does not want us to think for ourselves, the Catholic Church wants control over what we can debate and maybe more critically, how. Of course the 'creationist' lobby do not respect the creation of the big bang, they do not want us understanding it, rather follow them when they get their big willies into little girls and boys.

Not so with many of the evolutionists, whose affairs and rollicking were legendary.

Science doesn't try to explain away God, never has, never will. God is a supernatural entity but science can on examine natural phenomena. Science says nothing of God. Perhaps you haven't heard of Theistic Evolution.
