Egypt school beating 'kills boy'

An Egyptian teacher at a primary school in Alexandria is alleged to have beaten an 11-year-old pupil to death.

The maths teacher, Haitham Nabeel Abdelhamid, who worked at Saad Othman school, was furious because Islam Amro had not finished his homework.

This goes waaaaaay beyond disciplining! OMG. What the hell was that teacher's problem anyhow? Obviously has some serious issues. A lot of deep seeded anger. Hit him violently in the stomach? I cannot fathom how a grown person can do this to a child! An 11 year-old child for -bleep- sake!

I just hope that teacher doesn't get off on the charge of manslaughter and I hope the punishment is severe.
