Here is a 2001 Interview on WBEZ 91.5 FM, Chicago Public Radio, with then Illinois State Senator Barack Obama.

You will have to listen to this clip to understand everything that is said, but Senator Obama essentially labels the Constitution created by our Founding Fathers a 'Constraint', and declares that more Radical Policies, such as 'Redistributive Change', must break free from this 'Constraint'. He also states that the Constitution is a 'Charter of Negative Liberties'.

Why doesn't anyone see Obama as the socialist he is. A great book to read is the naked communist by W Cleon Skausen. Makes what Obama is doing pretty obvious. I hope us here in the good ol' US of A open our eyes before Obama and Biden do something that "America won't see as right at first". I am pretty worried.

I'm not supporting Obama, but to be fair, this isn't what it seems. And trying to put it nicely, you're not that intelligent, OP.

A constraint is a check or binding measure, especially in reference to management philosophy. Negative liberties AKA negative rights mean rights others have to refrain from certain actions. They differ from positive rights in that positive rights mean others are guaranteed actions from another party.

In the interview, he states that the courts' purpose is to reinforce that perspective as stated in the Constitution and that is up to legislation (see amendments) to change that. Nothing inconsistent here. That's how it was laid out in the Constitution.

Whether or not he's right is up to your own point of view.

Maybe you should do a fact check on Obama's past as a constitutional law professor and you wouldn't look that dumb.
