DAMASCUS (Reuters) - Syria said on Sunday unidentified helicopters attacked a Syrian border point with Iraq, causing casualties.

Is this a new war or just a mix up over the border line?
Could this be done to upset Iran who have a mutual defense agreement with Syria?
What if Syria shoot a USA helicopter down?
Hopefully there will be some more details soon and maybe some pictures.

Not enough information in the story. I can already see a Syrian or Iranian leader making a claim that it was a U.S. helicopter. Either way, this will get blown up into something it's not.

But unidentified helicopters flying around Iraq/Syrian border?
That wouldn't be the safest activity to partake in.
I wonder what more we will get.Maybe some made up dribble to cover it up.

SKY NEWS is sayin its the USA and they are 10 miles into the Syrian Border.

This whole thing is very odd. Why would they attack a small village in Syria? Was someone hiding there they wanted? How do the villagers know they were Americans? The helicopters were initially reported as unidentified. Are they sure they weren't Israeli?

Well that's really sick if this is true and they want to lure them into conflict.

This is SICK.

Or just some kind of error... but I doubt it since HELICOPTERS were involved!

What sort of range do military helicopters have? If anyone knows it could give us a clue as to where they could have come from.

Who's to say soldiers where even in these helicopters. They could have been drones. That way even if one was shot down no casualties. Still not good to send them into a potentially war inducing country.

Unless that border is undefined with a huge margin of error how, with today's technology, could such an error be made other than gross human error.

If true it sounds like the PTB are up to their usual nonsense.

Sky News is also reporting that the US stormed a building in Syria. The Syrians have called an emergency meeting.

Looking on Google Maps, Abu Kamal in Syria is on a main road between Syria and Iraq; the M5 and road 12.
Perhaps the USA would be better defending the border and catching the enemy before they cross the border.

This isn't really a surprise from their part...

They attacked Russia by proxy... they did 9/11... they torture... they lied to invade a country... they are crashing the economy...

So attacking Syria is no big deal.

And what's more interesting is you have a Russian fleet in Syria... if by mistake a bunch of Russians are killed... this will not end well.
