ah yes, it seems that the republican party is going to litigate this election as well.

This will be the downfall of our society, when all elections are litigated instead of voted on.

So thats the answer huh "Blame the republicans" ... COME ON!

It just seems there is no accountability anymore for the democrats. It was the Clinton administration that started this whole mess in the first place.

The fools over to the east tested him what ... 4-5 times and he did nothing. This website has way too many fools in believing that ALL the problems in our country started with a republican.

deny ignorance? pfft please... ATS should practice what it preaches.

Well let's see because of this administration, we have been in a war for going on 8 years (with no end in sight), our economy is in the toilet, housing prices are plummeting at an astonishing rate, people that do have mortgages are being foreclosed on, unemployment is reaching Great Depression levels and we are committing war crimes including torture.

So I guess according to you we need 4 MORE years of this same exact policy right? Cause everything is going so well now.

if mccain wins...as a white man with a japanese wife, i'm hunkering down in my house for a week. when you see crowds of a hundred thousand people coming out to rallies for obama, compared to a few thousand coming out to see mccain, those visual images do not go unnoticed as much as the republicans have tried to hide them. massive early voting, double digit poll numbers, a mind-numbing amount of bad decisions by bush in the last 8 years, combined with a historical record of filibusters by the minority party of republicans in congress to stop legislation by democrats...fraudulant vote counting will be the #1 reason on peoples mind.

The silent majority will speak on election day, and the silent majority in the US is largely conservative. I can see the riots and protests reguardless of who wins are coming, but I do believe McCain will win.

In thruth they are both a little bleh.

But do you seriously think that Obama, a socialist, a racist, a liar and a person praised to be the messiah and such is a good solution to our country?

If so its treason and appropriate actions should take place. PERIOD.

As Americans we ahve always picked outselves up and got dirty when the times got hard. It is the Democrats who have made YOU weak. Relying on the democrats to pick you up. I like to get on my own feet.

All the services that help the poor homeless and such are all services put into action by DEMOCRATS. Which in turn locks in votes for them.

god ... didn't anyone pay attention in school?

I respectfully disagree. Many questionable items are catching up with Obama. He won't release his birth certificate, his medical records, his college transcript. He has changed his stories about his shady associations so many times that no one knows which is the most current, or the closest to the truth. Tony Rezko, Franklin Davis, Bill Ayres, Jeremiah Wright, etc. And the way Joe Biden handled a difficult question yesterday left many people with the perception that there is now more avoidance of the truth. The Obama Camp's cancellation of other interviews with WFTV and his condemnation of anyone in the press who dares question his policies or past is a major sign of what kind of a man he really is. North Korea controls the press like this - not America. His panicked push for early voting is because he wants to get in office before he is found out. He won't release information about questionable overseas contributions to his campaign, and he wouldn't renounce the backing of Hamas. He is closely tied with ACORN, whose practices are unethical and desprate, and may result in a tainted election. When he talks about change, do people really know the type of change to which he's referring? He has no experience that qualifies him for the Office of the President of the United States of America, so think about it. How did he get to this place? And if elected, what change would America see? Loss of our freedoms, a President who refuses provide information to which Americans are entitled, loss of income, loss of living in a Democracy. Think honestly about what is actually known about Barack Obama. Let's not be like the person who gets married too soon, before getting to know the other party well enough. We may end up finding out too late that we've chosen someone who is a controlling, selfish, abusive liar and cheat who has no regard for anyone but himself and his questionable associations. Don't believe because you WANT TO BELIEVE so desperately. Believe only that which can be supported with facts. Remember that the best indicator of future behavior is past behavior. What past behavior is indicative of Obama being a President who really will change this country for the better? I see none.

Obama will win in a landslide victory. I am predicting this now, only 9 days from election.

Come on, the republican party WANTS Obama to win. It's how politics work in this country. Republicans get their chance, then the Dimocrats, then the Republicans, then the Dims again, over and over. Each party knows they take turns and always get their turn if they wait patiently.

After 8 years of Bush, the republican party KNOWS it has no chance at a republican winning this election. So who do they put up to run against Obama? An old white guy, with almost the same exact policies as Bush.

Come on. Are we to believe they are that stupid?

No my friends, they aren't. The repubilkwans want Obama to win. They know after 8 years of Obama, if they wait patiently, they will get their turn again. And the cycle will renew.

We will see.

I'm quoting this post so I can come back in two weeks to show you how misplaced your words were. This is not going to be a landslide victory by any means.

I’m going to provide some facts for you to digest about social welfare programs that the evil socialistic commie Democrats have created over the years. Apparently, you either went to one of the nation’s worst schools, or it was you who wasn’t paying attention, because if you went to a public school you probably received some of this Democratic welfare help. The facts speak for themselves, they are cold, hard, and truthful.

The Food Stamp Program has made severe hunger rare in America. In the late 1960s, medical research exposed the fact that American children suffered and died from diseases related to severe malnutrition that usually are thought of as occurring only in third-world countries. In 1979, after the Food Stamp Program became available nation-wide,
physicians discovered that this severe malnutrition had become rare, a result they
attributed to the Food Stamp Program.

You can also get facts on Food Stamps for each state. Here’s mine, Texas:

FOOD STAMPS HELP VULNERABLE TEXAS RESIDENTS AND THE ECONOMY
• 2,422,198 Texans use food stamps to buy food every month.1 That amounts to 10
percent of the people in Texas.
• Texas food stamp households receive, on average, $1.04 per person per meal in food
stamp benefits. This modest amount is crucial to financially pressed families.
• The Food Stamp Program pumped $2,718,158,343 into the Texas economy last year,
benefiting farmers, grocers, and small businesses throughout the state.2

• About 86 percent of Texas food stamp benefits go to households with children,
many of them in working families.3 Most of the rest go to households containing
elderly people or people with disabilities.

Here’s some more information for you to deny the ignorance that’s dripping from your posts:

Public benefit programs cut the number of poor Americans nearly in half, from 58 million to 31 million.
• Medicaid has been shown to reduce infant mortality and child deaths and to increase the likelihood that low-income women receive preventive screening for breast cancer and cervical cancer.
• While 40 years ago hunger and malnutrition were not uncommon in some poor areas of the country, the federal Food Stamp Program and other nutrition assistance programs such as WIC and the school meals programs have made severe hunger rare in America today.
• By increasing the rewards of low-wage employment, the Earned Income Tax Credit has substantially raised the proportion of single mothers who work, while lifting 2.7 million children out of poverty (in 2002).
• Nearly three million people with severe mental impairments receive help from the Supplemental Security Income program, which enables many of them to live independently.

Center for Policy and Budget Priorities

Now, back on topic. McCain’s doing what any politician would do, he’s trying to stay positive and keep his game face on when the cards are down. He’s not out, and there are many factors still in play that can give him the election, but he is down.

This program is one of the reason we have a very high diabetes problem in the poor in the US.
Just look at the foods that you can buy with food stamps.
The best value for the dollar of food stamps are all high sugar and high carb foods.
This is what the poor buy because it give the most food for the month.

food stamps and USDA giveaway foods programs are just a way to KILL OFF the poor.

NOW THEY DIE FROM OBESITY and DIABETES

I have seen this as a EMT and most doctors that treat the poor have been complaining about this for years.
The poor to have food to last through the month live on top ramon, mac and cheese, potatoes, and rice. this is all they can afford on food stamps.
if they buy healthy foods the food stamp money runs out in about 15 days

and the food stamp program is killing them.

now who pays for this GREAT DEMOCRATIC program, we all do in higher medical cost.
