Now THIS was a concert! I wonder what the kids of the goof-charlotte crowd would have thought of this? Saw them at the Gothic theater in 1989 and 90. One of the baddest bands ever.

Ministry, 'Thieves and Liars'

Thieves
Thieves and liars murderers
Hypocrites and bastards in laughter
Hey thanks for nothing
Morals in the dust
Two-faced bastards and sycophants
No trust
Thieves
Liars
Inside outside which side you don't know
My side your side their side we don't know
Which side are they
Which side of their mouth do you suppose that it came
Which side are they
Which side of the grass is greener
Inside outside which side you don't know
My side your side their side we don't know
You're like a great big #ing sponge
Just waiting to get squeezed
Breathe forfeit erection
Toxical injection
Geriatric #face
We still believe in lies
Thieves
Liars
Inside outside which side you don't know
My side your side their side we don't know
Who started it
Which side are they
Which side of their mouth do you suppose that it came
Which side are they
Which side of the grass is greener
Inside outside which side you don't know
My side your side their side no one knows
You're like a great big hit of acid
Waiting to be taken
Get out

One of my favorites. Gotta love their New World Order song off of Psalm 69 too =)

Thanks - yes, Psalm 69 is dangerous. The thing that is absolutely hilarious is Ministry started off like this:

Yeah, pretty awful. I think Al Jourgensen said it best.. something to the effect that they sold out first, *then* began to make the music that they wanted to make. Thanks for the laugh too, haven't thought about early Ministry in forever. (with good reason
)

Yeah, right! Nah, clearly Al grew up fast and who could blame him if it got him to where he is now? It is strange how DRASTIC it is though. Thanks again for the comments and here's another for fun: Land of Rape&Honey

Here is a vid from their second album - hmmm, showing some progress there AL, but not quite there! This was one of the first Ministry songs I ever heard. All DAY
