And that's the problem. I've gone to blogs that have been covering the issue and attempted to inject a bit of reason into the dialog, but no one listens. No one questions McCain's qualifications because they BELIEVE that he is qualified to run for POTUS. They at least think that his eligibility is good enough. Even though federal and/or state courts have not ruled on the matter, and have dismissed McCain's cases in the same manner as Obama's.

When presented with a genuine document that the Dept. of Health of the State of Hawaii issued to Barack Obama, they're all screaming conspiracy! Rational people who would turn their noses up at the tinfoil hat crowd are doing this! They have indicted in their court of public opinion, the DNC, the FEC, the Dept. of Health of the State of Hawaii, the Governor of Hawaii, the Democratic Party, Obama, and Joe Biden. Those caught up in the insanity BELIEVE that all of these institutions and people have put their careers and lives on the line for Barack Obama, to the point where they would commit fraud on his behalf!

The rage and hate is quite overwhelming. The main feature of it, is that those folks actually BELIEVE that they are being rational. And the absurdity of it is compounded by the fact that everything that can be considered is being considered EXCEPT that which can be substantiated and verified.

The blogs that I've been to pretend to focus just on the eligibility issue, but in fact they do not. The eligibility issue is just one more thing. Obama is a Marxist, is Joseph Stalin, a murderer (pro-choice/pro-abortion), a shifty liar (not showing his birth certificate by "ducking and dodging through legal procedure"), a charlatan, a usurper, a harbinger of death, a rapist (against the US Constitution), the anti-Christ, a Muslim, a terrorist, etc., ad nauseam, ad infinitum.

It is just plain ugly. The fact that Obama has not shown his long form birth certificate is not important at all. Those people hate Obama, and do not know what to do with themselves because of it. Their disdain is so bad, and they are so ashamed of it, that they are trying to come across as being reasonable people. That they think asking a question like, "If he doesn't have anything to hide, why won't he just show it and get this mess over with?" That is the result! Clearly the statement of irrational people.

Obama didn't create the mess. But I understand Obama's strategy. He's allowing people to eat themselves alive at their own expense. He's not willing to jump into the middle in an attempt settle things. He knows that he would be eaten alive as well. Obviously, that wouldn't be a reasonable thing to do.

74 yrs (or whatever it is) ago, they kept records, but I don't think anyone anticipated at the time of McCain's birth that being born on a military base in another country would become an issue for him. I am sure that when he was born, they didn't say...Wow in 74 (or whatever it is) yrs, our child will be running for President of the USA.

Something serious; Mccain probably KILLED somebody and the Navy buried it. So say first hand accounts from witnesses, and the fact that the Navy hides his records and won't release them (parts). THAT is a serious issue. SUPPOSEDLY he drank, then drove and killed somebody. Lets stay in lala land though where we try to come up with how a U.S. SENATOR, and law school graduate just HAPPENED to lie his entire life. Oh, and Palin committed ETHICS violations with TRAVEL, the Monegan firing, and MANY other firings. Focus on issues. The judges MUST laugh at how ridiculous Berg is. I called BERG, and he is a LOONY toon full of hatred. He sounded like the KKK leader or something. Probably has a Hitler poster on his bathroom wall. THE same people who think this is funny, to question a guy's citizenship, they are on the level of stupidity as the girl who CARVED HER OWN FACE. Careful what you wish for guys and girls, life has a way of giving you what you ask for. BE stupid. It is one thing to question typical conspiracies, BUT when HATRED is spread on boards with people seek KNOWLEDGE and a little excitement in CONSPIRACY theories, wow, that is truly sick.

all i asked for was for the presidential candidate that went to school at a place where citizenship was mandatory to show his proof of citizenship.i was denied a license because of a problem with my middle name.so why does someone questionable get a pass?

oh and by the way from what i understand, there are 8 other suits going on about this. if mc cain was not born a natural citizen,he deserves the same,but i havent seen a picture of him in a foreign school.

Hey, I am not arguing with you. Sure, demand he produce it for you. Also demand to see McCain's proof too. Otherwise, you are just looking for another excuse to keep Obama out of office. If your querry is legit, then you need to ask it of both candidates since the question comes up with both.

I cannot see any official signature, and the document is not even dated fully as to when the decision was made. I think people are getting ahead of themselvevs here. You would think that if the order was authenti or ruled on then it would show some sort of signature or official stamp and or markings.

It's as if you're thinking this case is similar to a creditor demanding to be paid back a loan. That all the borrower has to do is show up with the canceled checks to show that the loan was repaid.

In fact this case is just the opposite. Berg has tried to prove that he has a right, that he is owed, the viewing of Obama's birth records. Obama's says that he doesn't owe anything to Berg and filed a Motion to Dismiss. The judge then decides that Berg has not suffered harm or loss at the fault of Obama, and then denies Berg relief.

Why should Obama have showed up in court in an effort to demonstrate that he paid a debt that never existed? Or, more precisely, why should Obama have showed up in court to pay a debt that he did not owe?

People do not pay what they do not owe.

gotta give it to you redhatty. until i read the hypnotic suggestion thing i was stumped as to why these people cling to obama the way they do. that was a great find,and the videos that it refers to are spectacular proof that it is true.i read the entire paper.
i'm 54 and i still learn something new every day. NOW---how do we start a wave of logical thinking?

As someone that has at least been a long time reader of this site. It has become saddly clear that the IQ levels and the ability or desire to deny ignorance are all but gone from this place. The fact that thread like this gets this far is a sad testament to people's ability to understand and think critically.

Instead you believe in a conspiracy spanning nearly five decades, involving three governments, most of their government agencies, and an entire US state. A conspiracy of all involved that made sure that a child born to a White American and a Black Kenyan would, from the day of the child's birth in 1961 -- to the present year of 2008, be escorted to the highest levels of US and global power as a fraudulent US citizen.

Obviously as this man has gone to American Univeristies and worked his way through American politics, this has just gone unnoticed. Not once has anyone ever checked or they just are not going to speak up. After all this time, successfully slipping through the cracks, he is right where he needs to be. How perfectly this all worked out. It is so simple, so logical, how can you deny it. The next logical step is that some fraudulent author with no credibility or some random ATS poster is going to rip this case WIDE open. Why aren't these people looking for Bin Laden with all this wisdom and resources?

Wow, I have never been ignored for simply making a point first. Usually I at least have to address someone and specifically make them look like an ass first. I suggest you read Berg's now dismissed complaint to find out exactly where all the nonsense you been spewing comes from. Berg ventured conspiracy. First by implication. He named as defendants, the DNC, the FEC, and, of course, Obama.

Berg then filed an amended complaint about seven weeks into the court proceedings, where he added yet MORE defendants:

1. Secretary of the Commonwealth, Pennsylvania Department of State,
Bureau of Commissions, Elections and Legislation, 210 N. Office Building,
Harrisburg, PA 17120;

2. Pedro A. Cortés, Secretary of the Commonwealth, for the Pennsylvania
Department of State, located at 210 N. Office Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120;

3. The U.S. Senate, Commission on Rules and Administration, 305 Russell
Building, United States Senate, Washington D.C. 20510;

4. Diane Feinstein, Chairman, U.S. Senate, Commission on Rules and
Administration, 305 Russell Building, United States Senate, Washington D.C. 20510;

Berg screams conspiracy and by the mere fact that you support his claims, you support the conspiracy charges also. This is what the judge, Honorable R. Barclay Surrick, said in his memorandum dismissing Berg's claim.

Various accounts, details, and ambiguities from Obama’s childhood form the basis of Plaintiff’s allegation that Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States. To support his contention, Plaintiff cites sources as varied as the Rainbow Edition News Letter, (id. ¶ 39), and the television news tabloid Inside Edition (id. ¶ 45). These sources and others lead Plaintiff to conclude that Obama is either a citizen of his father’s native Kenya, by birth there or through operation of U.S. law; or that Obama became a citizen of Indonesia by relinquishing his prior citizenship (American or Kenyan) when he moved there with his mother in 1967. Plaintiff’s opinion, Obama does not have the requisite qualifications for the Presidency that the Natural Born Citizen Clause mandates. The Amended Complaint alleges that Obama has actively covered up this information and that the other named Defendants are complicit in Obama’s cover-up.

The conspiracy charges are completely Berg's own, and anybody else who subscribes to his claims. (Download the PDF of the judge's memorandum dismissing the case, and highlight the term "conspiracy" to gain a deeper understanding of where Berg was going with this case.

If you do not accept or believe the certified, authenticated, substantiated, and verified documents that support that Obama was born in Hawaii, then you are sympathetic to the claims laid out by Berg. And if you aren't, you have to believe in a conspiracy of some sort, because Obama and his mother couldn't pull off such program that spanned nearly 50 years without the willing and able assistance of others.

So do yourself a favor and actually read the case before submitting opinions based on misinformation that has been provided by the lawyer pursuing this case. The fact that you question Obama's citizenship is a result of Berg's public campaign to turn the tide of the elections by asserting, without reliable evidence or proof, that Obama is an "illegal non-resident alien".
