The violence in Thailand's Muslim-controlled southern regions is worsening as the government pledges tougher measures following a bombing that injured 29 people, including 10 Malaysian tourists.

www.kansascity.com..." target="_blank" class="postlink" rel="nofollow">www.kansascity.com Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra called an emergency meeting with his defense and foreign ministers, army commander and others to discuss the bombing, canceling a planned trip to Germany and Hungary. "The meeting was of the view that the situation in the three southern provinces of Thailand had reached a crucial stage and had arrived at a turning point," said a statement by the Foreign Ministry. Is it true that the greatest number of moslems are not in the middle east but actually reside in the southwest pacific region and asia. I thought I saw something that said Indonesia had the largest population of any single moslem country. If this is all true we better get it on our radar as you say.

Talk about marginal things. The U.S. dollar won't be collapsing anytime soon, much to the dismay of doom wishers.

As for Hawaii, Peurto Rico and Alaska, that's old news and it never goes anywhere. These instances do not reflect the majority of the populations there. In that scenario, you might as well throw in the Mexicans with Aztlan, past various murmurings of Native Americans, some groups of Texans and countless other whiners who cry louder than their numbers. Yawn.
