U.S. Passports: made overseas, obscenely profitable

Talk about foolish outsourcing of or jobs. This is totaly crazy. No document with as much importance should be produced and handled by another country!!

Shees, What is it with the US?

Just the other day I read something about microchips (I believe) that they purchased from China, and they were concerned about the security of it. Then the fake Cisco router story as well (yes, I know that came through the distribution channel, and not them directly) , but boy, these things should not be happening.

It amazes me how we get harassed at airports, & have to take all their S**t, and yet it's fine for them to do this?? Now we have this:

Are they going to arrest the scanner workers for kiddie porn when they scan children??? 'Big Brother' has come and gone in this world. Are they going to have women scanning women and men scanning men??? This could get completely out of hand!

Security is a multi billion dollar industry. The companies are going to make the profit anyway they can. It is a shame few of our elected leaders have stated anything against this, but they don't want to look "soft on terrorism".
