Iceland being enslaved!

Just one note here, I´m from Iceland and there are lots of companies going banktrupt because of IMF is telling the goverment to increese the tax rate on pepole and companies. There are lots and lots of pepole loosing there work because of this just week after this notification from the IMF. I don´t know how this is going to end but i´ll say that terrorism act that british goverment set on us did real damage to our country.

I think this year the icelandic goverment made a contract with the norway to find oil north of iceland and. Norway has been searching for oil with icelandic some icelandic dudes and there is likely a lot of oil north of iceland. Maybe the british goverment saw the opertunity to get advandage to use the icelandic financial crisis to get the money from the oil that will be found.

Another thing, there are few icelandic dudes that where very greedy and did everything in there power to get money. These dudes did this to our country and I and we icelanders have to pay for this greed.

PS. I´ve heard that there are icelanders living in some countries like germany, uk, denmark and are getting lots of racisim. Like one guy was renting in germany and there was this UK girl that was going to rent another apartment in the same place and she did not want to rent the apartment because of the icelander and the icelander was kicked from the apartment.

Looks like Gordon Brown knew of the Icelandic bank problems as far back as March and didn't do anything about it.

If the people of Iceland need any help, don't hesitate to ask. I can't think of anything more fun than pelting Gordon Brown with snowballs.

The main problem with Iceland (besides being almost bankrupt) is the immense political corruption. The (UN)government officials are so corrupted that you would not believe what they get away with. They have bankrupted the country with their plain stupidity and blind capitalistic views (and still they rule). Of course they accomplished this along with their friends, twenty or thirty very immoral and very very greedy bankers. They refused to intervene and stop the madness and just cheered them on. What thinking government would let their banking system grow 10 times the GDP. And what government would put a retired former prime minister (and an educated lawyer) as the head of the central bank. The government was warned many times. Reports were written by specialist pointing out that the crooks were playing a very dangerous game. But they did nothing! They just dismissed the reports and talked about a very stable and capable banking system. Most people believed this rubbish (well ... not everyone has a degree in economy and people should be able to rely on the government protecting their interest) and those who pointed out the dangers inside Iceland were called lunatics and conspiracy theorist. And they were just laughed at, mostly by the government. WELL NOT ANYMORE!! I live in Iceland and day by day something is being dug up. Corruption, corruption everywhere and it only gets worse day by day!

Iceland is a country ruled by corrupted crooks and unethical politicians with ties into every government office or institution. And now they are pretending to start an investigation in to the whole matter. Hence they are going to investigate themselves. What a joke. This is the real reason Iceland is bankrupt, not Gordon Brown, although he is certainly not making things easier with his terrorist laws, malevolence and bullying!

Oh and did I mention that there is not a single independent media in Iceland. The bad boys own them all. No wonder we are #ED!!

At least Iceland hasn't had an earthquake yet. They are very vulnerable, because if they got a big, like haarp grade earthquake their volcanoes could blow. Actually Iceland and Haiti are in the same boat. Small countries vulnerable to big country takeover. In Haiti using humanitarian aid, following a really weird earthquake, and in Iceland, an economic ripoff following a tainted election.
