Obama can't raise or lower taxes as President. That is for Congress to decide. Look it up in the Constitution. .

To the people who do put up McCain signs. Just be prepared for confrontation and be prepared to protect yourself. But most of all...be safe! You don't need a sign to vote, the silent majority will prevail over the vocal mob!

McCain supporters take down your yard signs and take down your bumper stickers. Your safety is too important, seems like some Obama supporters can not control their anger at the thought of someone voting against their messiah.
Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter "B" into her face, Richard said.
"Will the media run with a story of an Obama supporter who went berserk at the sight of McCain signs and repeatedly struck a woman volunteer on the head with a stick?"
The wrangle started outside of Murphy's Irish Pub, 1615 W. Wells St., around 2 a.m. when a 21-year-old male Marquette student was struck in the face while holding a "McCain Palin" campaign sign and yelling to vote for John McCain in the upcoming presidential election. The student said he was blindsided when a group of three individuals approached him, though he is not sure exactly which individual hit him.
Rog Coverely said several pellets pierced his Longwood home. Coverely showed several spiderwebbed-holes in the front windows of his home.
The Republican manager said he is convinced he was targeted because of new McCain signs he added around his home.
Just be careful guys and gals...there are some crazies out there.
And the US Constitution started influencing them when? They know that the Constitution and the Law, are totally irrelevant to them now. They can do what they want with impunity, because they ARE above the law.

And the racist McCain supporters aren't?
The political racist cartoons that have Obama and chicken and watermelon on the sides of the picture aren't offensive?
McCain supporters do not even know our history or even have a reason to be against Obama.
McCain supposedly thinks vets are the greatest men but wont fund them?
RRConservative, don't try and turn it around
it's probably been said in this thread, but when i saw this post i had to reply.
You sir have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. I agree that the racist cartoons are wrong and distasteful.
By "our" history do you mean the history of the Black race? Yes WE ALL KNOW YOU WERE SLAVES. I didn't own any slaves, i'm appalled that ANYONE would have ANY slave of ANY race. YOU were not part of that history. Nor do you choose to embrace it. The only thing i see with a big portion of blacks is that they are pissed about being slaves. You don't see Jewish people yelling at Germans for the holocaust. It's a part of your race's struggle. which i am VERY HAPPY blacks are now seen as equals.
THE reason i will NOT vote for Obama is that he stands for socialist ideals. I will never live in a country with a socialist government. Obama wants to change our flag because "...it's a symbol of oppression..." (Obama's words on meet the press) He also wants to change our National Anthem because it "...portrays a war like image..." (Obama again on meet the press) I understand that the anthem gives off a war-like image. It was written during a war, by a man WITNESSING A WAR. It's been that way for 232 years and i see no reason to change it.
I really don't support McCain either. His choice of VP has taken the last shred of credibility away from him imo.
My views are not distorted because of the race/sex of any candidate. My views are molded from the values of the candidates themselves. So please don't call people ignorant when you are guilty of it yourself.
PS Obama is half-black. Why do we all call him black? isn't he white as well? White + Black = Whack?
