GOP should be Defeated This Year, page

This is something I'm posting for a couple of reasons.

1) I'll admit it - I'm a Republican. Oh well. I want to see what the readership here thinks about what this guy wrote and where you all stand in terms of the political house.

Should the GOP be defeated and removed from US control this year or not?

Provide me some reasons why or why not.

As a conservative, I think the Republican Party should lose. As a conservative, I have a choice between a part-time liberal and a full-time socialist. Not much of a choice.

Right after the "Contract with America" by Newt Gingrich, they reduced spending and taxes, and Bill Clinton enjoyed eight years of a booming economy, and of course took full credit.

Then the Republicans had no leadership, no core standards, and out-Democrated the Democrats!

Maybe after they sit out a few terms they'll get their soul back.

You ever notice how good men can go to Washington, and in no time at all are as crooked as a dog's hind leg?
