Perhaps the "unpopular" things Biden thinks the new administration will be forced to do has to do with backing Israel in an escalating war? Seems the country would be split down the middle on that one.

Either way, many public figures around the globe seem to know that something is in the works and the new administration will be stuck with dealing with it along with the horrible mess the Cheney/Bush gang is leaving behind.

Iran will not bomb Israel because Jerusalum is located there and that most surely would be distroyed. Something the Muslims wouldn't want to happen. Israel will not bomb Iran because of all the holy places they have there as well. Ofcourse if either parties don't mind having these holy places in ashes then war will be most likely. Ofcourse peoples on both sides will suffer greatly through radiation poisoning even the Palistaniens and syrians and the lebanones people will suffer the fallout as well. Making the lands barron and no use to anyone for a very very long time. If the US is bombed with a dirtybomb suitcase great areas of land will also be useless for some time as well. I don't see China or Russia entering this war. They will just sit bad and see what they can do after the carnage. Ofcourse there can be a UFO landing just before this all starts and everything is placed on hold or completely stopped which would be the better case. I, for one, will just take two valiums and sit on the couch and watch the tv and see what happens in the world and not careing one bit.

I'm just going to say my 2 cents: I believe we will be at war on our US Soil sometime within the next few years. I hope I am wrong, but that is what I see.

I'd have to research again, but one night I spent about 5 hours just researching & readin on WW1, WWII, and a few wars prior, and several after, including Vietnam, the Korean War, and the Pacific War. My conclusion was that we are headed for war on home soil, and in for a major change towards the worse, in ways some or most Americans have never seen or thought would happen. I even told my mife this almost a year ago, when I compared the Stimulas (welfare) check sent out as that to the fall of Rome who gave out coins before it's fall & demise.

The larger wars all happened at around the time of a major economical collapse, while the smaller wars were to put things in perspective to keep control against those countries who dont wish to conform. Thats where the UN come's into play.

Well... turning off the TV may lower ones stress level for sure but it won't stop wars over oil and resources...those will continue and the world is a tender box right now..... What about neutron bombs? Those are quite effective when measures for effectiveness are measured.

i can not find it anymore.. anyway.. they are going to deliver them the bomb. if one bomb explodes in germany, the leaders (and those behind of them) are responsible for that, and they will face big consequences.. but anyway, thats their plan.

as a sidenote: i learned yesterday evening, that german police, firefighters and support staff is trained for more than half a year for a civil war.. they knew it long time before the stock marked crashed. many people are now starting to realize and also to hear from others that it is going very serious in the next months.

For the record, I love gleaning information from forums, but I detest participating in them directly. Every post eventually becomes a shouting match.

FIRST, what I am NOT:

To the person that sent me a U2U about their child in NYC: Simply pay attention to the news, Bush does not go to the UN on surprise visits. When you read a news article about a UN meeting where Bush is supposed to be present, make sure your child is in Jersey for THAT day. I don't know what else I can tell you. ALL of my family is in NYC; I have NO IDEA how to warn them in advance of an event that is only PLANNED for without being able to give them a date

One other thing: the UN President offered to host the coming G20 Summit at the UN Headquarters; Bush did not take him up on it; instead the G20 Summit is planned to be held in Washington. I suppose it's possible (even likely) that Washington is well aware of a threat to the UN Headquarters in NYC, and may be trying to avert it.

On another note, Bush already gave his farewell speech to the UN General Assembly on 9/23, so there is no reason, other than some international emergency, for him to go back to the UN within the next 3 months. SO IF HE DOES GO BACK ...

I will say this: if America leaves Israel hanging, Obama may justify it by saying he's saving lives, but it will NOT benefit America in the long run. Better to stand and fight... we can win against just about anyone if everyone will get out of the way and let America do its job.

I'm praying McCain gets elected, because he is not afraid to stand, and he knows the gruesome realities of war. I feel he has a much more realistic take on things.

Either way, we all need all the prayer we can get, and so do these candidates.
