Oh I meant to say Venus instead of Sirius, lol. Yeah, a lot of people confuse Venus with UFO.

I've seen Venus many times, yet I cannot help but be dazzled at it's brilliance. It always seem new every time I see it.

I can see why people with little knowledge of astronomy might confuse it with UFO since it's something we don't see very often in the sky.

The second part of the video is rocket exhaust in the upper atmosphere. I have seen in about a dozen times. The sun itself is over the horizon but it still hits and reflects off the exhaust in the upper atmosphere. If you watch the following shuttle launch, it demonstrates this effect quite well. notice how the exhaust seems to glow brightly when the shuttle reaches sunlight.


The only difference is that in the OP's video, the exhaust has had about 10-20 minutes to scatter a bit.
