First off, I could care less that Ron Paul is saying this. Never trust a guy with 2 first name's, or anotrer guy with a vowel at the end of his name.

So it is slavery and that is what we have born into... We let it happen This is why we are alive

The American people can win this if they take a few simple steps..

1, Learn to grow your own food Use only (heirloom seeds)

2, Shun ALL forms of credit, SAVE your money and only use cash, hit these bastards where it hurts them most

3, Tighten your belts folks its going to be a bumpy ride

4, Get of of the stock market now, invest in and hold gold.

We all can see the writing on the wall, this is nothing less than a concerted effort to destroy America as we know it, don't be just another "Little Cog in their machine"

We have been heisted not once but now twice: Once in the initial credit bubble and lending fraud scheme that CREATED this nightmare, and now yet AGAIN, as these VERY SAME fraud profiteers are not only NOT punished for their initial crimes that led to this mess, but are REWARDED it by having the equally fraudulent fed and big brother ROB THE TREASURY and saddle the struggling tax base with the bill!

US citizens almost unanomously told our representatives NOT to bail out Wall Street. Apparently, with few exceptions (like Ron Paul), congress thinks it's above the will of the people. After supporting a brain-damaged tyrant for nearly 8 years, they also believe they are above the law.

We know what our founding fathers would do. Will we allow these criminals to destroy what's left of this country?

i keep hearing about the U.S. should just let all these institutions fail. what then do all of you think will happen? can someone come up with a viable solution? it's easy to criticize, and i have heard we should let them fail, but going into a depression with massive unemployment and soup lines, robbery, and other crimes is a little too much, just to say "i told you so". there are a lot of armchair economists out there, but we need a step by step solution, because the devil is in the details, and grand sweeping postulations are not workable. even ron paul (your god) doesn't go into many specifics, even though i agree with him on a number of points. the ability of anticipating unintended consequences is in short supply, and needs to be addressed by all the chest-beating anti-capitalists.

I have a very strange feeling where we are going we wont need money to survive. We will need instincts and general survival knowledge. Its as though we don't understand the patterns of civilizations before us. We use, use, use, and dont question the means. This is how major civilizations destroyed themselves.......

Are you implying Ron Paul is Anti-Capitalist?

1st we need to make sure we dont do more damage with legislation. Thats all Dr. Paul is trying to say, lets take our time because this bill is going to effect generations (if theres a future). No one knows whats the best way to fix this mess but thats not what we need. We need SMART LEGISLATION TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN!

The "Free Market", if used properly will eventually help bring back equilibrium to the marketplace. But this of course will take if not as long or longer than the time it too to put us in this situation(3+years). IMO

Wall Street knew what they were doing. The government should not allow these people to profit from sub-standard (some say criminal) business practices. These banks and companies should be allowed to fail. Then the government could provide cooperation for replacement commercial companies.

Before we do anything, we need to eliminate the Federal Reserve system and ensure those "players" are not allowed to participate in the new system.

Most of the cheerleaders for the stock market are BS'n themselves.

When you have most of the USA people against a bailout and the powers that be vote the opposite, then what good is any of your voices.

Does anyone see the writing on the wall? We so blinded by our 401Ks, pensions, stocks, empty promises, lies, corporate thief's, corrupt financial practices, credit, that we will sell our souls.

How many of you really believe everything is ok the way it is now? What does your gut tell you?

What would be your ideal life? Is it based around the same unsustainable system or is it something completely different.

We are all searching for that something and the way we are living currently is not the way or else people wouldn't be questioning and speaking out.

Anymore this is how I feel about the government. They have taken a great nation into ruin. Dont worry though the peeps on the inside will be well taken care of while us peons suffer. We will have to keep an eye open at night and gun next to our bed to make sure a hungry neighbor dont break in. Im predicting right now our country goes bankrupt in 2009. That is the big event Joe Biden speaks of. Martial law and a new currency will come of it. I wish I could throw more than a middle finger.

It's not a Democracy. In a Democracy people elect officials that represent the popular opinion. We were in no way represented when the Bail-Out passed.

This was the confirmation that we no longer live in either a Republic or a Democracy. I'm not sure what we're "spreading" around the world with our invasion and occupation of foreign countries, but I can tell you, it's certainly not Democracy.

VOTE THEM ALL OUT OF OFFICE!

Find out who the incumbent is and vote against them. If they won't represent us, we'll find someone who will. I've already told this to my Congressmen.

Please stop being logical, it hurts my brain. As Americans we know our way is best because we don't bother to burden outselves with to many facts about the rest of the world. I mean look at Iraq, all we had to do was give each of our soliders a bag of chocolates and a few ballots to hand out and we will be recognized as saviors. I for one think it has turned out great

I love how Socialism has become this word to inspire fear. "OH NOES ME NO WANT TO BE SOCIALISTIC!" umm Mommy whats Socialism?

Scaremongers can go peddle their wares someplace else as far as I am concerned.

Ok, I'm not sure why RP is still plugging this stuff. After all he lost the nomination for the Republicans. I like his message truly but why is it still being plugged. The forces arrayed against him and his few supporters bely any kind of resistance. Annnd he didn't seek to pursue the Presidency after he lost the nomination. Oh wait he is a Republican. Party loyalty? Does my pledging my support for the Constitution, RP, the Bill of Rights, against the Fed, put me in some kind of database. Oh looky here, Pizzaguy and all others like him conveniently gave us information on how to find them. If or when martial law is enacted and we need to round up some enemies, these RP supporters will do nicely. And lets not forget to testdrive the secret camps and maybe we can feed a few to the aliens.
Ok thats was a bit sarcastic. Honestly though, kinda weird imho, the one guy who stands for truth, justice, and the American way, gave up. Is still a Republican, and has a whole database of supporters that think like him.
You want a spark to touch off some *%$#? Its not gonna happen. Freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose. I got too much to lose atm. I don't want to see my children become wards of the state. I dont want to lose my position within the community. I don't wanna lose my business, my wife, my house, my friends. My life. Does that make me weak? How about this. Perhaps, if something must be done, shock and awe tactics. Works for the fascists. And no, don't go blow something up. This is dangerous territory. We are talking not just the laughable conspiracy theorists, but actual conspiracy for treason ...cuz that's how it gets interpreted. Getting caught guarantees lies and media oblivion. Wheres that damn V when ya need him????
These guys have laid plans for years. All of this stuff was/is predicted outcomes. Go figure. Ever read Shogun? Thats a brilliant piece of work on how one man can really influence a nation with predicted outcomes on his chessboard of players. If we...the people...want our country back, I guarantee you, planning anything less is suicide, to you, your family, and your friends.
I am a pretty good tactician, though not the best. I used to beat computer chess at level 12 back in the day. For such a campaign, one will need money, trust, organization, media, communication, information, planning, strategy, and defense. Funny how similar such a campaign is to chess and Shogun.

Pizzaguy always delivers

Hello- Im new so bear with me. I've broken my "no posting" rule and joined today. I officially state that Dr Paul seems to be the only one left that makes any sense. Well I protest this nonsense and have consciously decided to stop paying everything about 60 days ago. My cards are almost maxed (disaster provisions- my kids and bf question my stability) my old car is 90 days behind, my new car is current. My two upside down houses that I worked all my life for are unpaid. My renters can't pay. And if you think I didn't try for three excrutiating months for a job puhleese! The sad part is this- no creditor has even called! My fico is still a 780. And It's not just me. We laugh about it now. We call ourselves the non payers and I apologize for contributing to the problem but you tell me how a college dropout is on the line for one mill!

I don't see the problem here.

After all, Joe Biden has told you that paying more taxes is "patriotic".

So, man up, get your wallets out, and pay those taxes!

And get used to it - Barack Obama has plans for the rest of your money. That means everybody, in the form of a Global Tax!

This was the confirmation that we no longer live in either a Republic or a Democracy. I'm not sure what we're "spreading" around the world with our invasion and occupation of foreign countries, but I can tell you, it's certainly not Democracy.

First of all this country was never supposed to have been a democracy.
“A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.” Thomas Jefferson. The founding fathers HATED the idea of a democracy.

I challenge anyone to find anywhere in the constitution, declaration of independence, bill of rights or any other historical document from the founding of this nation that says we are a democracy... You will NOT find it.
This country was founded as a constitutional republic, that is when 99% of the population CAN NOT take away the rights of the remaining 1%

Moving on...
The "Federal" reserve which was created in 1913 is no more federal than federal express. It prints our money, lends it to the government, with interest, which our income tax pays off. (illegaly)
The IRS developed the income tax to collect tax profits or gains, and is not a tax on labor or earnings. In October 2006 Tom Cryer was being tried for tax evasion and failure to file a tax return. The Louisiana Federal Jury found Mr. Cryer NOT GUILTY on all counts of tax evasion and failing to file a tax return.
Former IRS Agent Joe Banister and Ron Paul On CNBC concerning income tax.

This next video, America: Freedom to Fascism, can explain it alot better and in more detail than I ever could hope to.

Google Video Link

The way I see it we have come to the point of no return.
There are people who are so deeply entrenched in this government that no ammount of public outcry can stop them.
"Voting them all out of office" as so many love to say is not the answer either. People in non-elected positions within the federal government would still be there.

"Taxation without representation" caused The American Revolution.
After widespread opposition from the american public, a 700 BILLION dollar bailout package was passed.
How much do our voices really count for?

As I see it we have one, and ONLY one choice if we want to truly stop this kind of blatent mistreatment of the american public.
We need to enact our constitutionally given right to remove this government from power, and install a new government.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

United States Declaration of Independence(Obvious source of above quote)
The only way this could be effective would be to ban anyone with prior ties to the federal government from ever being allowed to serve this country in any elected or non-elected manner ever again.
