How ya doing up there Access? I know you're tired of it.

This morning..I'm snowed in. LITERALLY.
Bad storm continues. School buses canceled. It was a wicked night.
I'll spend half the morning shoveling out my walkway.

I feel like a freakin' polar bear.

My kids idea of shoveling would be to trample it down and throw it around in the most disorganized fashion.EEEK!
I have limited space around my front door and have to make sure I leave enough room for the accumulation of snow over the next 4 months.
Besides..my snow shovel..isn't really a shovel. It's a large "Scoop" that I could easily fit three kids onto.

DG Hon, if I had a fireplace I surely would. It's pretty to watch for awhile, but when it starts impacting your DAILY life activities, it becomes a pain in the butt. Especially 6 months of the year.
But you are more than welcome to come visit, and help shovel, and cook up some spicy food! YUMMY!

I'm going out to shovel now. If you don't hear from me for a few days..send a St. Bernard to find me.

Hmmmmmm....... A beautiful snowfall. Time to go out, make a snow man, a couple snow angels, build a snow fort and have a heavy duty snowball fight.
Then some hot chocolate, while you pop some pop corn and find either a good movie, or read a great book.
Then later, warm things up.

You got a bullseye on you already!

For the record..it's still snowing. Supposed to for the next three days.
The kids next door built a snowman about 2 feet taller than me.
The snowbanks are taller than my younger kids.
UNREAL!
Merry Christmas and BAH HUMBUG!
SANTA, I want a snowblower.

It's been iced up here in the NE UK for over a week now.Unusually cold for November.

I'd love to see a fully frozen winter for a change of pace.
I've got some mad camping stuff to test.

Jeesh AD. Is that your neighborhood?

I'm not really sure that I'm liking your world from the looks of that! Yeah, it's pretty and fun at first, huh? But man, getting old now isn't it?

That video was taken by the local newspaper. The entire city looks like that.
Another storm warning out today, and no end in sight till Sunday.
It's, getting old alright.:shk:

I know people are probably wondering why the heck I keep updating this thread. After all, I live in Canada right? Should be used to a lot of snow , eh?
Right now..we have as much snow as we should have at the end of February.
This time last year..we had green grass.
This year, 20 year record breaking snowfall.
It has snowed everyday for three weeks.
ENOUGH ALREADY.
Snowblowers sold out: Residents could be out of luck this winter

Even Santa Claus will be hard pressed to get his hands on a snowblower before Christmas.

An early blast of winter has made the machines a hot commodity, but most retailers have already sold out of their entire winter stock, leaving anyone on the hunt for one of the gas-powered throwers out of luck.

www.nugget.ca...

I SERIOUSLY do not believe this.:shk:
That's IT! I'm going SOUTH.
Just call me the Canada Goose.
