from the other thread and your comment on my comment about war....that concept, perhaps, is too intense even for ATS. maybe one of us should start a thread on the idea that china is waging a silent war on the us, softening the target up?

well yeah, we should start a thread on that, however in my opinion that this shrewd business practices from China is there all along during their close door policies but you never know for sure right ? hehehe

also, if you take a look at the chronology event in the thread, you can see that the scandalous producer, SAN LU corporation is owned by NZ dairy producer. so there might be some conspiracy there ? i am not sure.

but if you look at the history of China, they were weakened by Opium trade brought in by the Europeans especially the British and also American to "conquer" China.

so if China would use the same tactics on the world, i am not surprise.. heheheh

Melamine is an industrial chemical used to produce plastic plates and utensils




and also home decoratives and furnishing



and your kitchen's finishing



MELAMINE IS INDUSTRIAL CHEMICAL, IT CANNOT BE EATEN AT ALL!!

then, the question is why Melamine is added into Milk ?

the most important nutrient in milk is protein. both melamine and milk have the same compound of nitrogen



adding melamine in diluted milk can produce the false reading in protein content of their milk product, and it is cheap, hence maximised profit !


Melamine powder look exactly like milk, and it doesnt smell, so it is hard to be detected in dairy product.

In early 2007 , pets (cats and dogs) in US died suddenly and it is found that pet food from china contains melamine

In Dec 2007, SAN LU corporation receive reports that their milk product make babies sick.



Between Jan 2008 - June 2008, 5 infant deaths was reported, and an abnormal increase in kidney stone cases in infant.







Aug 2008 : SAN Lu corporation product were tested positive with high content of Melamine.

Sept 2008 : NZ Gov ask China to check on this problem
21 Sept 2008 : lots of food product were tested positive with Melamine in Taiwan

What Happen when Melamine is digested ?

Melamine remains inside the kidney as it cannot be broken down. It forms into stones blocking the tubes. Pain is eminent and person cannot urinate. Kidney will then swell.




Although surgery can be perform to remove the stones, but it will cause irreversible kidney damage. It can lead to loss of kidney function and will require kidney dialysis or lead to death because of uremia.

AND UNFORTUNATELY, DIALYSIS IS PERFORMED ON THE SMALL BABIES, TAKE A LOOK.

it is a very serious problem for babies, as their kidney is still developing and they drink alot of milk during this time.


China currenty has 13,000 infants hospitalized.

It does not matter how much a human being took
Melamine. The important point is "It cannot be EATEN!"
