Axis-of-Taxes...I like that. Myself, I call them the Unholy Trinity.

Will I leave? Of course not. Why would I? If I lived in a highly liberal area of the country, I'd probably be getting the hell out of dodge, but thankfully I don't. At the very least, I expect an Obama-Reid-Pelosi administration to be entertaining, in a slow-motion trainwreck kind of way. As an added bonus, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy watching many of the current Obama backers recoil in horror over the next year or so as they realize what they've voted for. Should be fun to watch.

They all stayed after they realized how bad the socialized health care was in Canada.

Sorry Sparky, that dog don't hunt. My cancer was cured for 32 bucks out of pocket...oh, and that $400 or so a year that I'm taxed. Onerous, yes...but it covers the kids too. The 32 bucks? Total parking fees.

Best find another factor.

Self edit to repeat what I said in another thread...c'mon up. We'll leave a light on. Once you hit the border, though, see if you can't swap your gun for a health card.

Sadly, our nation's enemies are licking their chops right now. If Obama wins, Biden is correct, our nation's new leader will be tested internationally and domestically .

I think any new President will be tested. I'm not sure why people think it will be just Obama who could be tested. I know Biden specifically mentions Obama but it's unlikely he's going to be talking about when McCain is voted-in as President.

I know Americans seem to think that the difference between McCain and Obama is significant, but to majority of the rest of the world, whoever wins, it's still going to be the President of the United States of America and all that represents.

If the false messiah wins then there is no country to flee from..........only the international kingdom of Obamaland..............america will become Zimbabwe, or South Africa, or worse Haiti...........a third world hell hole of socialist/marxist rule.

Completely agree. I, for one, am terrified to think about what happens if McCain is elected and "gets tested" on whether he really meant to "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran".

I agree... I just pray that it will be more than just one voice screaming at the elected... but honestly, if it does go real baaaad..... I'm sure there will be more than just one voice..... But leaving the country will definitely NOT solve anything....

Starred...

I am just getting ready to get my passport. I won't say Ill be leaving if he wins, but when I start seeing I was right about the guy im going to Spain or the UK. My family is in Europe so it wouldn't be hard or unusual for me to go there while America crumbles away.

I'm probably one of the few people that actually left the country in 2004 because Bush was re-elected. I returned to the US in April of 2008 in hopes that this election will shift the American paradigm. However, if the fated does not happen, I will again move.

No, I will not leave the country no matter who wins in November. I would never leave my children and grandchildren and now a beautiful little great granddaughter.

I Will stay and try my best to do what I can to make our country a better place.

There's hardly a nickles worth of difference between the candidates. My biggest problem is with the issue of gun control. Each candidate has good and bad qualities.

I believe neither Obama or McClain will cave under pressure from other countries.

I try to remember that it takes a whole team to play this game of politics.
The president is our quarterback but he will have the entire team to help and advise him.

No matter who wins he will be our president. I will take a wait and see position before I decide what my strategy will be during the next four years.

I think I'll move to Paraguay reguardless of who wins. Perhaps Pres. Bush will let me camp out on his place.

McCain supporters can't leave the country because:

1) They won't be allowed to take their guns with them
2) Don't speak anything but English, and Britain, Austrailia, New Zealand and Canada sure as hell won't take them.
3) Won't be able to get very far in their SUV's at today's gas prices.
4) FOX NEWS wouldn't allow for it - nobody would be left here to watch it.
5) Jesus told them to stay put.

Any one care to expand this into a top-10 list?

Isn't it ironic?

You call McCain supporters radicals and who fear Obama's policy (change, whatever that is), yet you're the one threatening to leave the country and spreading fears of a McCain presidency as 'hell on earth'.

Stephen Baldwin is following in Alec's footsteps. I guess it's a Baldwin tradition to threaten to leave the country if your guy loses. Did Alec Baldwin say he would move to Canada if Gore lost? I got a good laugh out of this. Call me naive, but I think things will pretty much work out regardless of who is elected. Wow, that was naive, wasn't it?

Three more reasons why McCain supporters can't leave the country.

#6...Someone needs to be here to clean up the mess after Obama, Pelosi and Reid are finished.

#7...Someone has to actually has to have a job and pay taxes to pay for the social programs of the above three.

#8...Conservatives stick with this country in good times and bad, unlike the other side, which jumps ship at the first available opportunity.

Isn't this stupid BS fun? It adds SO much to the site.
