What if no one voted?

I was thinking about the electoral college today. As I understand the process, supposedly the 'people' choose the electors, who in turn vote for president. This will be my first election voting in person where I am registered. I have previously voted by absentee ballot. So when I get to the polls, am I going to see the name of the person who I am electing to vote for the presidential candidate I like?

I could walk though the thought process I had on this, but let me just save time and say, what if no one voted? Would electors still be able to vote in a president? I guess I am just trying to figure out how little perceived power people really have. Any input is appreciated.

Interesting. I have no idea myself, however: Assuming nobody voted (including the candidates and their staff!), I'm guessing congress would pick the president. Or perhaps elect the speaker of the house to run a puppet government while another election was constructed.

Either way, a non-vote IS a vote, and I think the message is clear
