Show us your Tats

Thats right. I said TATS.
I know alot of members have tattoos. Now is the time to show them...Or at least tell us about them if they are in a T&C sensitive location.
Also, I would like to hear the stories attached to them. They usually have one. I know mine does...

It's a dragon's eye

I got it from this older Russian woman in a Suburb of the Twin Cities about 6 years ago... It is my first tattoo experience and I'll never forget it. I meditated during the process, and I went deep into a trance.

I would love to get plenty more...

Mine is just a cow skull on my left arm. I will have to get a pic and put it on here when I get around to it.
The ATS appropriate vesion of the story was simply a night out in Kings Cross for a friends birthday, lots of alcohol and a sudden realisation of what happend the next morning.
I knew mum would not approve so I had to think about how to break it to her. it went something like this.
"Hi Mum. I didn't want to tell you and I dont want to alarm you, but I am only showing you this in case you have to identify my body one day...."
Boy did that go down well....

It's on my right arm, and you know what. It really didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I'd like to get some tats on my lower legs.

Mom's tend to disagree with tats. Funny stuff dude.

I was surprised at how relatively pain free mine was too....Funny that!:w:

Funny stuff? True story. Mum got over it though. I just called her a hyporite and it was all forgotten.

See. Not much to it. the colour has faded though...as it does.
It is all I have for now. Still deciding if I want to put a viking on the other arm.

Ty Rush and VA.. I am very pleased with my pretty little vine of flowers. I have only had it a little over a year now. Two things inspired me to get this:
1) I was sick of replacing ankle bracelets every summer.
2) my husband said , " you know you'll never actually get a tattoo .... "

I have 9 tats.. and they all mean something very important for me... my last one (is my fav) which is the symbol of Pluto in the base of my back.

The one I'm uploading is the 2nd one I got done on my right leg and it's pretty simple... a cat with an harp in his tail... (the pic was taken with a camera phone- therefore not very good quality, but u get the idea)

It really didn't hurt.. was like a mosquito. At least compared to the others I got, (an eye on the back of my neck- 2 hours, a real torture-but the most terrible of all was the last one... OMG- I thought I would have to ask the tattooer to stop it- BUT no.. of course, my pride didn't let me... so well- I held on there while feeling like dying inside). hehe

But it was worthy- I would do it again anytime

Heres mine, cant say Im mega keen on it anymore wish I had it done better or color and detailed but there ygo. Hurt like a SOB first tat ever and on my belly I was glad when it was over!

Got them 7yrs ago....lower stomach,got them after surgery, have huge scar....tattoo's keep me from looking at ugly scar!
