I use my own music often to help me meditate. Also, as odd as it sounds, I use something called I-dozer to help meditate too. Its supposed to be like
listening to electronic drugs, but really it just helps me empty my brain.
Meditation really is simple if you let it be. I started with the color method, that's supposed to help you pull info from peoples' heads. Just
picture Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue in quadrants above your skull. Close your eyes and try to "feel" the color emanate from each quadrant (1 color
per quadrant). Rotate around your head, and focus on keeping the colors where they are.
Thats only one way to do it. As far as I'm concerned, if I focus on the backs of my eyes long enough in a calm state, I begin to see things. Lots of
Eventually, I got to the point where I could open my eyes without "scaring" myself out of the state, and I got so far as my backyard and floated
around a bit before coming out of it.
Is this state ever accompanied by a violent "electrified" shaking of your body before you leave yourself? I am always shaken from my body and then
put in another place, with visions VERY much like yours. Someone told me that this shaking was me coming in contact with my being's vibration and
emitting my conscious to another place.
I like to think I'm a sane person, but even saying that stuff makes me feel crazy. But its a great experience right? And something that can always
help you grow as a person.
