C 130 flights,what's going on?

Over the weekend several of my friends and I witnessed four groups of C130 aircraft with Seven planes in each group. Usually we see several heilocopters groups just before some type of military action.These C130's gave me an uneasy feeling for some reason.
They were at a very high altitude,flying from east to west over southern west Tennessee. Does anyone know what's going on with all these heavy plane movements?

Training. Training always picks up around this time of year, because of the new fiscal budget. They have to finish spending what they had last year, and then they get their new budget for next year.

I second Zaphod, no conspiracy here......to justify next years budget, they must fly the number of training hours they projected.....

Agreed, same thing is happening here at Nellis.

Paranoia is a terrible thing folks.......

I live close to Ohare in Chicago and they also go up late at night around 2ish.

No conspiracy here, Air Show in Little Rock this weekend, lots of air traffic came from Tennesse area and returned.
