Biden has mentioned this.
Also Powell has now mentioned this
and today Albright said it's a 'statement of fact'

they obviously know something is up

I'm guessing something with Iran, Russia and China
is going to happen in the next few months

This scares the hell out of me. I don't understand how people can just blow this stuff off and pretend it's nothing.

What i think is going to happen? Obama is going to do something extremely UNPOPULAR if he's elected President....and i think this was just an early plea...to let it sink into peoples minds to perhaps ease the anger. This is just an assumption on my part.

Bad times are ahead...they are knocking at our door. I don't want an inexperienced person for President. Not in these times. People can go on and on about how he's going to change things....I just don't see it. He has no record to speak of...nothing. I just don't understand why people aren't worried about this.

Everyone says it's all about the economy...it's not. It's a major part of course...but it's not all that. The world is getting more unstable with each passing day.

When Iran obtains nukes....oh boy....it's going to be hell. We are either going to jump in...or watch idly by as these 2 countries destroy each other and the middle east and help take our Oil Starved Country down economically.

Thank you Biden....you've made my vote for McCain a much easier one.

And the typical American ignorance starts once again. Perhaps you should visit Michigan where factories close their doors every day, where mayors of cities need to do part-time jobs to make a decent living, and where more and more people get unemployment.

You do know that Michigan is a Democratic-run state, right? Glad to see their leadership is really helping.

I live in Michigan also. Granholm is the best governor in history..lol. This state is in the freakin gutter. People are losing their jobs all over this state. Unemployment at 9 percent and rising. It's a good thing she raised taxes...or how about that AWESOME Driver Responsiblity Fee. After they pay their ticket...yeah lets charge them twice over the next 2 years!!!

She is pathetic and she needs to be taken out of office ASAP.

How she got re-elected is a wonder to me.

You're right David. Furthermore, it is AMAZING the OBAMA leads in Michigan, because let's look at what DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR Granholm and the Michigan House did:

Michigan Outrage: Gov. Granholm Passes Tax Increase

Voting "yes" were 17 Republicans and all 47 Democrats. Voting "no" were 46 Republicans

It's very interesting that the people of Michigan seem to favor the Democratic Obama, when it is CLEAR who favors tax increases.
In addition, Barney Frank said today that indeed they will have to RAISE taxes after the election.
For those in Michigan that vote for Obama, you're going to get what you vote for.
For people like David, I'm sorry that you have to suffer for those people that never seem to learn that Democrats LOVE to raise taxes. They are EVEN criticizing McCain, because he wants to CUT EVERYONE's taxes.

could be the end of america. The morons will elect Obama expecting him to give them change. The constitution is the foundation of this country. The republicans and democrats have been chipping it away for years now but you can't tell morons that. They wouldn't put up with anyone taking a hammer and chisel to the foundation of thier house but as long as it's just the foundation of this once great country it's ok.

Another thought:

What if the crisis after an Obama election is internal rather than external?

Picture this scenario. Obama wins, but fraudulent voting arranged by ACORN and others is pretty obvious. Given Obama's demonstrated distaste for the military, what if he does something to tick the military off? Maybe we'd see a South American-syle coup to settle the country down until all the rabid political partisans on both sides went back to having the entire country's best interests heart, rather than what works best for just their ideology?

I'm not sure, but I think they are loosely referring to another middle east conflict. In case another war starts up or a naval blockade I need to ask a few questions.

1. what's in it for me, why should I support the war

2. will there be a false flag attack first

3. what will this do to our equity markets, the stock market, our economy

In other words dear reader, I just need to generally know, what I will be getting out of any additional stupidity. If it is the same as I got last time count me out. I guess they don't feel that they need everyone's support for their idiocy. They are right of course, but, I just thought I would sound out.

As for star wars, etc. Look, do you really believe that all military systems are put forward becasue they make sense? Or more likely that they are massively profitable to the military-industrial complex? There is a limitless list of military technology on which we could spend money but we can't --- unless bankrupting the country is an acceptable result.

Yes, they obviously make sense. The United States MUST stay ahead in Space-Based DOD systems. China already has Kill SATS in orbit, Russia you can be certain does as well. We won the Space Race during the Cold War, but if we lose such a competition now, we will be left wide-open for an attack of unimaginable proportions. The same goes for all Future Weapons Systems development. We can push for our economy to prosper at the same time, but in cutting DOD Projects we are dooming ourselves into non-existence.

You'd really have to be some delusional dipstick to interpret it that way. Some people are just not streetwise about the real world. Do you actually think that a VP candidate would tell people that if you vote for their ticket they intend to cause a big problem? Do you have no common sense at all?

Sheesh. It's often amusing to see simpletons try to inject some self-serving meaning into something; some tortured interpretation of something someone said or did. But it's simply gotten to the point where it's impossible to have a rational, informed discussion about anything political in this country.

Streetwise? Lol, yeah sure, you know so much about the streets. Senator Biden does not even like Senator Obama, he himself was the source of some of the harshest anti-Obama rhetoric during this Campaign. If anything you should realize that Senator Biden has from day one undermined Senator Obama's campaign. Why? He does NOT like the guy, and he most likely knows aspects of him which he wishes to make public in a non-direct fashion.

Taking Senator Biden's slip-ups so lightly is what being a "simpleton" is all about, so be mindful of tossing such a label around. Now if you are of the opinion that Senator Biden did not mean what he said in such a "conspiratorial" fashion, then I can understand your OPINION. However, looking deeper into the meaning of what he stated is completely contrary to the aspects of simpleton ideology.

Ahhh, As much as I hate saying this.....Obama would do fine. I dont believe he is the Clinton (run and bomb a asprin factory) kind of guy. Biden is a idiot. Always has been. Obama will get tested like any other POTUS if he wins. Nobody could do as badly as our current idiot in charge....and as a GOPr that is not a fun thought.

I just love watching Biden operate. He throws what looks like a slip into the ring and McCain just grabs the bait and runs with it!

McCain looks like more of a loon than ever shouting about threats of nuclear devistaiton. Meanwhile the antipsychotic medicaitons for his PTSD are giving him shakes and contortions from the neurological damage they do. And when he nosedives we get Sarah Palin to protect us from our enemys.

Hey John! Next time Biden makes a mistake, don't grab it, it's the third rail again.

Not even a chance. Our military survived Carter and Clinton........They are not going to take over unless there is a HUGE National Security issue. Like Obama letting China put a military base in Iowa...
Which as marxists as Obama is, I doubt he will do. I hope.

Not totally........Biden and his big mouth probably cost Obama 1 or 2 points. And while that seems like nothing, in a 8-10 point race it is a BIG problem. Remember that every day Obama is ahead the right gets more angry. They are going to turn out like nothing we have ever seen to beat Obama. The polls are crap. Kerry and Gore would have won had the polls been right before. So PTSD meds or not....Take the advice of your anti-christ leader and "don't get cocky"

Not a point, not even in Pennsylvania, I just looked at the polls, and the plot line of all the polls. Not the slightest deviation since Obama and McCain diverged.

McCain and Palin are reactionary and take the bait every time. Just watch.

Biden keeps gaming them the same way over and over.

It's like when McCain jumped on the Rev. Wright thing. All it did was advertise the Obama is Christian.

McCain's PTSD makes him a sensless pawn for anyone with will to bait him to run off in a frenzy.

Can you just imagine what the Russians could do with psy ops on him?
If he got elected they would have to do another Kennedy type intervention. Probably on him and Palin.

Unpopular decisions and sticking by their judgements, supporting them in the community.. this can only sound like sweeping gun confiscation.. That's the next step before they turn this country into a socialist regime. H'i guarantee.

If this isn't a case of Biden "preparing" us for another Sept. 11 type event to quell doubt about the government's involvement in advance, then I suspect that Obama's ideas are unpopular with the Washington establishment, and they think they can force him unto their program. Biden could have just threatened Obama in public.

Maybe we need to check a persons character and life for us to understand any possible cryptic messages he is giving, or to understand his views.

Biden being a person that early in his adult life was stricken by unfortunate circumstances, it is expected that he is a careful individual and always planning ahead for possible circumstances happening from out of the blue.

If he is seen taking the time to voice his fears and actually openly inform the people, there might be chances that he actually expects some out of the blue events to occur at some uncomfortable timing for the new presidency.

I could also point the finger at a number of scenarios, like disgruntled allies that were more in favor of the old establishment planting attacks because they feel they will lose valuable ground with a Democrat presidency, in order to make the opinions turn again on their favor, other powers wishing to reestablish their former glory and status and wish to check which scripts can they run on a brand new and inexperienced president.

What ever will be, it could be efforts of upsetting the international status taking advantage of the presence of an inexperienced president, Biden sounds as almost being sure about it when he speaks of unpopular strategies that the new presidency might have the need to resort to.

He is just being cautious and he probably learned that lesson very hard in his life. He is also in charge of external affairs.
Not a bad choice for America after a careless G.W. Bush that is steping down leaving America with nothing but enemies around the globe.

I could learn to trust him.
I hope we have all learned our own lessons by now.
