Lately I've been losing my sense of smell. It started when I began smoking menthol cigarettes. Is it possible this could be the cause or is there something more serious going on?

well tobacco definetly is a cause. Along with 62 others listed here:

www.wrongdiagnosis.com...

Given the context, I'm willing to go with tobacco. But then again, I'm no doctor

My mum has the same problem....

we put a note above the cooker...."she with no nose must watch the pots".

Her cooking is still good though so she still has her taste buds thank goodness.

Quit smoking, you'll get your sense of smell back, plus, smoking is bad for your health, I know it's hard, but I heard hypnotism actually helps people quit smoking.

Hope that helped,

I'm sorry, I know you mean well, but we KNOW it's bad for our health. It's only written on every pack of cigarettes we buy.
