UFO picture is 'best proof yet'
www.thesun.co.uk
A “FLYING saucer” is photographed in daylight over a town — in a snap hailed as one of the most important ever pieces of evidence of
alien life.
The photo was taken by a 57-year-old nanny on a day out last April. DC Heseltine, of Wakefield, West Yorks, has now handed it over for study to a
former US navy physicist who specialises in photo analysis. (visit the link for the full news article)

gotta say photo looks pretty convincing from that distance would like to zoom in to it a bit to check it but cannot right click and save cause of
copyright, what it could be though is 2 holes in the cloud with light shining through and a purple smear exactly over the top? can anyone get a zoom
in on this!! sure someone can!

I would not trust The Sun. However, it does look cool. I managed to view the image and zoom in. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of
photoshopping.
I would post it in here but I don't know about the copyright issue.

going from that small picture, it looks like the sun reflecting off the lens or a water droplet on the lens of the camera.
it's a shame about the resolution because we cannot see enough of it to tell if it is or not.

I am trying hard not to, but the sceptic in me is forcing my hand.
The photo was said to have been taken completely by chance. a chance photo of nothing in the foreground, a darkened city in the back ground and a
'clear' full colour UFO in the centre of the frame.
Judging from the photo it is near a city, therefore population, yet nobody else reported seeing anything.
If this does turn out to be something, then great. I will be as excited as the next guy, but at this point, it doesn't add up to me.

I'd like to see a better quality picture. It looks like a CD in it's case and a Millineum Falcon.

This looks like an odd cloud formation to me with a little editing possibly.
Someone above posted two images via link. Look at the first one. Colors of the object correspond directly to colors of clouds and background around
it. Just arranged differently to give this appearance.
eh, The white light is the SAME color as the backdrop sky in the higher portion of the frame. Probably a puncture in the clouds with some weird cloud
shadowing around it... Possibly a touch of photoshop as well to finish off the image.
Bogus, IMO.

The British Transport Police officer will reveal the findings at the UFO Data Magazine annual conference in Pontefract, West Yorks, on October
25.
Hopefully more will be revealed later this month. I'd like to hear exactly how the woman who took the picture describes the experience.

Are you sure it's not swamp gas reflecting light from venus? Looks like the good ole tr3b. But in all seriousness it doesn't look anything
like a water droplet.

An Oreo?
Seriously, I wouldn't trust the Sun to keep my fire going. But it's a good image, and I'll keep watching.
Edit for spelling
