Taliban militants fighting the security forces in tribal areas of Pakistan said they were willing to hold unconditional talks with the Pakistani government.

Maulvi Omar, a spokesman for the militants, said they were also willing to lay down their arms if the military ceased operations against them.

“We are willing to negotiate with the government without any conditions,” Maulvi Omar told the BBC.

What we see here is great begin of wider escalation in region. Two opposite forces has found their common enemy: US and its coalition.

Truce wiyh pakistan government and Taliban means more united force against US and its intrests. This peace is something what US will hardly oppose, they will not see "Pakistan United" in the match.

Divide and rule is US way to handle situation, and continuing war profiteering. If Pakistan make this negotiation to run, we propably will see another "suicide bomb" by "terrorists" in Islamabad.

My hope is that Pakistan will Unite, and soon. US bombings should stop immediately!

Yep!

"You are with US, or with the terrorists."

Thats the two sided sword, rules made by US.

Thats the reason why War On Terror will never end.

Thats why we all should unite against US Criminal Government.

The deal is already signed.

Of course, the Taliban have not agreed to lay down their arms or stop attacks in Afghanistan.

These agreements will last just about as long as the last couple of identical and failed Taliban agreements.

None of them did anybody any good, and neither will these.

Yes, the Taliban has certainly earned the faith you have in them.

I have a question for you. Do you see the hypocrisy in what you have written? First you criticize the US govt for taking a simplistic approach to the world and then you wrote:

"Thats why we all should unite against US Criminal Government."

Sounds like you and George Bush advocate similar approaches.

CONGRATS.

Noop, sorry. I didnt find.

We should remember that there were lots of information that US helped Taliban out of Afghanistan to Pakistan in begin of invasion.

Now we have war going on in two country because of that. Negotiation is only way to end wars, guns cant speak or make any deals.

When US oppose all negotiations, they oppose any possibility to end the crisis what they have started. War On Terror is made to last forever... Thats the worst crime made by US.

Undermining their enemy is what US is doing every single day. Like the real reason for calm situation in Iraq was work of Al Sadr by negotiations, its possible with Taliban too. But what is the will?

If you see, that I am like Bush, yes I will agree! We both seems to hate US, and its people. Ron Paul was your last chance, but you all miss that...
