being the only planet confirmed to support life in an almost infinite and expanding universe, which is believed to only be one of an infinite number of almost infinite universes, the use of statistics is quite pointless.

it really doesn't matter at the moment how large the ratio is, it is still possible that we are that 1 in a bazillion chance.

how is it that the statement, "intelligent life being created coincidentally over billions of years from matter" is less logical than saying, "intelligent life that already just happened to exist created more intelligent life to populate and be fruitful on this planet"?

does anyone offer up an explanation as to where this divine being came from or how it came to be? because without that theory, the idea that all this was 'intelligently designed' becomes far, far less sensible. it would almost be akin to evolutionists just stating that 'life has just always been, but it still evolves,' without offering any explanations as to how it may have arose.

the fact of the matter is, earth wasn't chosen as THE PLANET to put life on; we could have evolved anywhere; there are billions of planets in our universe on which life existing is a good possibility, as they happen to reside in a habitable, hospitable range when we look at where they are in relation to their parent star. people, we didn't choose earth, earth chose us. had our sun burned hotter, earth would be more like mercury and life would be out of the question, so we would have evolved on another planet, orbiting one of the other billion stars in our milky way galaxy, or quite possibly one of the other 50 billion galaxies containing billions of stars out there.

it's pretty much a given that there is life on other planets; there are REAL equations to back that one up. anyone who believes that some guy or girl sat down with a bunch of lego blocks and built everything on this planet that is so intrinsically linked through our biosphere is more egotistical than religious, and can't even begin to wrap their mind around science or the study of the universe, so they choose to ignore it and come up with an answer they can control.

We have not yet found any life on mars! Microbes or otherwise.

Mars don't have the ability to make or preserve life like earth dose. Because of its location compared to the sun.

what? becasue its colder then earth? its still within tolerance levels for some life forms on earth and those life forms dont mind to much about atmosphere either

So in other words earth is a special place compared to any other planet. The question is! Is earth and its moon put here by chance ?

So far we only have ideas on where our moon comes from. But no real proof.

except we have a thoery that predicts things about the moon such as how fast it is traveling, how far from earth it should be, how far from earth it is moving on a yearly basis as well as the chemical tests and studies done on moon rock brought back

they checked them and guess what they were right they accuratley predictued speed distance and speed of travel away from the earth. its a valid thoery now not an hypothesis so yes we know where the moon came from with a fairly accurate amount of information

wait so life can live thrive at the bottom of the ocean in tempratures of voer 400 degrees, and can live in cave systems where it takes it energy from sulfuric acid and stone, can live in near barren intense heats(pick a desert) as well as extreme cold tempratures

life on earth has shown it could survive on several planets and moons in our solar system, it may not be lions and zebra running around but life is just as possible as on earth ... so how it so special?
