Sorry if this has been covered but the search function has been disabled.
Can anyone explain how to embed youtube video into a page?
It asks for the youtube video number but I don't see anywhere on youtube where it says what the video number is.

The part you want to use in bold, and Only that part after the "=" sign.
The code to embed:

Try this:
1&v=AfqDVP_0O0c
Again, Only the bolded portion... after the "=" sign.
[edit: to add]
 Seems you got it.

I didn't want to start a new thread just to ask this question so hopefully it will get answered here, and if not then I will start a new one.
There are some videos I would like to embed but they are not youtube or google videos, can I embed ANY video as long as I have the embed code, or am I
wasting my time gathering up the embed codes for these videos?

yvid tags will only work for videos hosted on Youtube. gvid tags will only work for videos hosted on Google. No other videos can
currently be embedded on ATS (as far as I know), and "embed codes" will not work on ATS at all.

Now along these lines here is a question. ATS Videos. Say we were to create a video, upload it to ATS, is there a way, or is there going to be a way
to embed those videos into a thread?
That would be a neat feature. I bet S.O. is feverishly figuring it out already. But I thought I would ask to see if it has already been worked out.
Wouldn't that be cool? Video responses to posts?

Thanks. Tried several times and FAILED despite trying just the code.
Here's a test attempt of an animation called '9' It's a fantastic short animation of a little fella in a futuristic world. Mystical sci-fi at
it's best. Last year some muckty muck producer bought the rights to make it a movie. I hope it makes it to the Big Screen.
Fingers crossed again...
Edited to say "Whoohah!!!", and of course,

The 'muckty muck' is Tim Burton, could hardly have hoped for a more suitable dude to do it justice.
