Should I take that comment as a bad thing for the US?

So China confidence spending is getting better (within their nation?) but they will be more careful how the US economy is doing? what that means if that is what it really they article is saying that they will short the buying of US debt?

It's pretty scary how right the author was

I think I am going to change my daily market mantra to "How LOW can she GO"
This is getting just plain silly, all the bad news all day long and the markets might as well be at a stand still. Maybe they are afraid of letting it go on a Friday and having to deal with all the off work protesters.....

Well I just got back from Wally World, and they had tons of 12g some .243, some 44 mag. They also had 1 or 2 boxes of .357 sig. I got two of the last 3 boxes of WWB .40 s&w FMJ's and A few Boxes of WWB JHP's. They had what looked to be like about 15 or 20 boxes of .22 the bulk 550 packs. As far as 9mm and 45 good luck, they were all gone as well as the 223.

Just thought I would give an ammo update of what it is like around here.

I was thinking the exact same thing, stacie. Great minds think alike.

I was just doing some reading on pension shortfalls among S&P 500 companies, and the articles expressing concern date back to at least 2002. This has been an ongoing concern for some time. Sure would have been nifty if somebody had found a solution.

My dad may be in the same boat. An entire generation is watching their retirement savings deteriorate. It's a sad situation.

I feel your pain, had a couple of weeks I WISH that was all I lost...

Once you stop the bleeding though you can begin to "heal" in a different way.You feel that at least you're taken back the reins of your finances for better or worse that you can have a say.

It was very hard for me to divorce my previous ways after investing for 20 years.

I see the "market" currently merely as an indicator and not as a means for gain as I used to.

I'm thinkin' I have a habit, have to get back to the 'puter/this site before the closing bell or I get all hinky inside.

The Beast has almost RISEN!!!

I expect unemployment numbers to be up next month to around 8.7 that seems to be what the steady unemployment U3 index is rising at. About .5% a month. If it goes higher than than then things are sliding way faster.

Looks like they are trying to get a slight rally going.

Yes but that was this year so far we lost much more since 2007, but taking into consideration that we still have probably 15 more years or so to recuperate I hope for a better future.

the baby boomer's have it worst.
