But the natural gas climb is very unusual. I wonder what drives it up that way.

Must have been Ray and the 76 trombones lyrics

In this case it was the dollar index dropping below 77.

This doesn't mean natural gas won't go back down, but wow. What a run.

GBM tell your friend to stick it. Bahahaha.

Oil barron is very smart, I wouldnt laugh too soon, and hes not my friend, I really wish he was though haha

No, I don't. A substantial reversal is that 25% in 3 days you mentioned, no.?
Where did you get that from?

But the natural gas climb is very unusual. I wonder what drives it up that way.

Stander, the major reversal I was talking about with banks was in march. You know, their 150-500% reversal? I was just kidding about today being the big reversal.

If we "doji" tomorrow it is the start of the new bear flag

If we go up by more than 50, we will hit 10,000 next week

The MACD confirms this as well..

I am now 65 : 35 #1 / #2

So...like I said natural gas went up like 16% today. It was up like .42/contract.

I was just thinking that you would have made like 42,000 dollars in profit for each contract if you bought yesterday

The up-to-the-minute market data people should have all put our money together and bought like 1000 contracts. Then we would have made 42 million dollars. I want to make 42 million dollars in one day

As I explained in an earlier post oil got whacked by the fund managers. The talk about DXO liquidating along with possible restrictions on oil trades killed the market. Oil was fundamentally over bought anyways and NG was way overdue for a rally. The recent run up in gold seems to have reached a ceiling within 1% of the $1000 mark so investors were looking for somewhere else to protect their weakening dollars.

The US dollar index has pretty good chart support down near the bottom of the 76 range but there is no real reason why anyone would be bullish on the dollar. Inflation is not a problem with oil staying near $70 a barrel and gold stalled near $1000.

All the G20 nation stock markets are making new breakout highs on the weak dollar so it has been a bad time for stubborn bears. This newsgroup has done pretty well calling the market moves even though the underlying fundamentals are a recipe for disaster. The longs did get their revenge this summer but in the longer term I think there may be a market reversal before we reach 10,345 it is just difficult to predict when. Even Redhatty said that might have to wait till the spring thaw.
