Oh lord, I went to Ybor City a few years back. It's one of my favorite places on Earth. If you're more into smallish-towns that still have things to do -- and you want to soak up the multi-cultural beauty of Florida, while you're at it -- you can go there during the day and have a good time. If you want to walk out of a club half-deaf (and dizzy, even though you weren't drinking), you can go there at night and have a good time.

Ybor City is a fun and diverse strip.

hillsboro drive(?) kinda near Busch Gardens. It burnt down quite a while ago.

I grew up in Miami & traveled to Disney & Busch Gardens often, later I moved to Tampa & my folks to New Port Richey. Mom's still there.

Miss the east coast though, Lived in Riviera Beach & Juno Beach back before the condos - in fact I was there the year the tanker got beached on WPB Island in the Thanksgiving storm!!

Even went out there & have a pic on the seawall with the ship's hull behind me

Chinese PMI signaled that the Chinese economy was growing. This boosted commodities and stocks in Asian trading (also giving a boost to futures). If ISM manufacturing comes in with a good report you could see massive gains.

It is up 48% for the year.

For my economic theory side...the largest car maker in China said that the stimulus has helped spur demand. The stimulus. The problem with government induced rallies/demand is that it runs out rather quickly. The real story is if the global economy can stand on its two feet with out the governments of the world throwing money at it.
